Cat Never Believes Her Owner Abandoned Her, Still Waiting In The Mountain | Animal in Crisis EP145 

The owners abandoned her, but she never stopped loving them. That's so sad. She didn't deserve that.

For those wondering what happened to the cat afterwards, first of all this was over a decade ago. When the show first aired in 2009, the cat became famous and people gave her the nickname "Myunsan," after the name of the mountain where she had been waiting for her owner. A year later, she was adopted by a guy in his twenties who claimed to be "a passionate rescuer of cats." But in July 2011, it was discovered that the cat was abandoned yet again by the guy only a month after her adoption, and that she was missing. (The guy turned out to be a pathological liar and had a history of animal cruelty. This was before the amended Animal Protection Act passed in Korea.) Fortunately, people quickly found and rescued the cat in a nearby neighborhood, and the last newspaper article I could find about her tells me that she was to be matched with a new adopter, this time with the help of the authorities and "through a more strict screening process." I literally cried, I love cats. I have seven cats I will never in my wildest dream think of abandoning them . At night I always pray for my cats and all the cats of the world. May God bless this cat version of Hachiko .

Guys let's unite and helps all these poor animals out their who were abandoned by their immature owners... Like come on I know sometimes owners don't have any other choices but if so they could have at least given them a shelter and a nice family to live with , not abandoning them to starve themselves to death.... People don't realize animals have feelings to when you leave them

I feel so sorry for this cat :( . She sincerely waits for her owner every day without knowing that he will not return - this cannot be described in words...Oh, poor kitty... Animals don't know that betrayal exists. They just think that they were left here for a short time and soon the owners will come for them. They believe their owners and not a bit doubt them. PLEASE NEVER LEAVE your pets! I can’t imagine a situation in which leaving YOUR PET on the street would be humane. If it’s hard for you, you can give your pet in good hands and visit at least sometimes!!!! My cat loves me so much that he follows me LITERALLY EVERYWHERE! He does not know how to hunt and is very scared of other animals, I will never leave him alone. Only if I die before him and then if souls exist, then I will follow him Х)

This story broke my heart. Myunsan's heart is so pure--filled with true unconditional love. After 2 heartless owners I hope the 3rd one was a charm. Thank you to the community and rescuers who cared for her.

Wow, that was so sad. A small cat can demonstrate that huge amount of love & loyalty to it's human, but the human just threw her away like a piece of trash, with not a shred of love or loyalty. So damn heart breaking. I'd LOVE to see follow-up video to see where she ends up and if she finds the loving, warm home she deserves. Thanks again for another great kitty video.

i really remembered HACHIKO, a dog in Japan that had the same situation of this cat. But the dog's owner is already dead but Hachiko still waited for his owners comeback for like i think 8 years

My cat was abandoned by the previous tenants of the house, which I know was uninhabited for three months prior. She was just there when we moved in and after finding out her story, we adopted her. But even now, five years later, she gets very anxious if she hasn't seen any of us for a day because we've all been out. ❤
