in my opinion you should use an on screen calcuator because some times assumptions can lead to wrong answer when the options are not very vase , the simple example was 361/2.88 and the two options were 22 and 25 (ignore the rest, the answer was to divided by 100 when is say 20 or 22 what is mean 120 or 122...) , now when you do it by assumptions you round off 361 for 360 and 2.88 for 3 and so you say the answer should be slightly greater than 20 i.e 22 , but that's wrong the actual answer (with calc) for it is 25 , so it is worth it for 15 seconds to be wasted than to be tick mark a wrong answer , choice is yours : )
Hi, We can't calculate directly, but there are a few tricks we can use depending on the question. Consider this: We need to calculate 2^16, now instead of multiplying 2, 16 times, we can simplify it in the form of 16^4, or 64^2 so now we only have to multiply 64*64 making the calculations a bit easier.
Hi, we currently offer mock tests only in English, as the actual exam is conducted in English. You can take the 3 Free CAT mock tests for 2024 here: cracku.in/cat-mock-test
