Great video! My husband came home with one last week and left it to me to keep it alive. The only problem I have is the leaves are drooping a bit. Just learned she needs to be moved from the window and watered a bit more frequently 👍🏻 I’ve never cared for plants in my life, you’re the hero I needed!
We recommend fertilization for both macro and micro nutrients required by palms that often aren't available in our soils. Southern Ag palm nutritional product is a good choice.
I have my palm tree in door by the window. It catches direct sun light for around 2 hrs a day. The tips have been getting yellow each day. Too much sun light? I water it once a week or when i feel the soil dried. Any advice?
Oh. Interesting. The air circulation, should I put a little fan in the same room as my palm? I get infestations of the bugs with the little webs. I hand wash and spray it and they are done but it happens more often than I’d like. lol Thanks for the info.
I live in Oakland Park, FL and have the cat palms outside and it has flowers at the base area... Do I cut them off? How do I care for my cat palm when they have saplings?
Just looked at a 3 gallon cat palm locally. Checking back with the business next week for a 7 gallon. Does $49.95-$59.95 sound right for a price on the 7 gallon? Thanks for the video
If you stick your finger into the pot, and your finger is dry up to your first knuckle, then it is time to water it. It can be fertilized monthly with houseplant fertilizer or all-purpose water soluble.
