I go outside pretty often - my human calls it “enrichment.” And it’s always a good time for me to practice my tricks. Cat training outside, with all the distractions, is good to make sure I have my commands down no matter what is going on. Plus it’s fun, and I get treats!

I taught my cat the word “no” and she corrects herself when she makes a mistake or stops doing what she is doing instead of training. She’s super smart and will do anything for a treat! She’s not a Somali though

@@SummerSamba yeah, I see, color is different on video in the garden and inside the house. What a lovely colour!) how Somali feels about walking outside on leash and about travelling by car? I want a cat like a companion in my travellings, to walk together on evenings and go to nature at weekends. Based on your experience, will it be comfortable for Somali cat?

There are a handful of breeders all over the world, but there really aren't that many! My human found mine by searching for Somali cat breeders online. Even if there is not one near you, some breeders will hand carry (or hire a professional person) to hand carry a kitten to where ever you are. Usually, there is a waiting list for kittens.

Start by going to a cat show. There will be breeders who more serious about cats. Also look in cat magazines. Best breeders are people who do it for fun, not a business. The best breeders are the people who just have one female . This way the owner can spend more time socializing the kittens. A family even better. Have fun.

@@tomm6789 After my human found my breeder (who lived within a couple of hours of us), she met up with her at several cat shows. And they both sized each other up! Because it goes both ways - a good breeder also wants to make sure you will take good care of the kitten she lovingly raised.
