Aww thank you ! I’m so happy you enjoy my content that means alot ☺️ Ooh how exciting! You might have already seen it but I have a “getting my Ragdoll” video and I go through all the supplies I got for Bella. So that would be handy to watch as a first time cat owner ! I’m not that well educated when it comes to homemade food. It can be a little complicated because you have to calculate calories and make sure you have all the right vitamins and minerals. When Bella was a kitten I fed her on two tins or pouches a day and bowl of dry food. Now she’s older I’ve cut her meals down to just two a day. It seems to be enough for her because she’s an indoor cat so exercise is very minimal. Every once in a while she might finish her food faster then usual so I might give her a little complementary meal or some dry food. Bella no longer gets dry food daily just once or twice a week if that. Ragdolls are prone to UTIs and Bella doesn’t drink a huge amount of water so it’s important she gets moisture from her wet food. She does occasionally get raw food every once in a while. Recently every other morning I give her raw chicken hearts which are full of taurine. A lot of Ragdolls have HMC which is a heart condition and hearts are full of taurine so I like to make sure she’s got a good amount of that in her diet. A lot of cat foods are complementary and don’t contain vitamins or taurine so its important you make sure you’re feeding mostly complete foods & i recently brought a taurine supplement to add to some of her meals. You can definitely do a homemade diet I’m sure there’s a lot of information out there 💕

@malicahamilton You are such an amazing cat mama, and I did go back and watch your previous videos on what you feed your baby. It has been so absolutely helpful, and I have made a list of all the things! I plan on trying both Tiki Cat Kitten, as well as Applaws to see which she prefers, while also leaving dry kibble down for a little while as that's what the breeder says she will do for her until I bring her home. I'd love to do homemade food, however I agree with you it is a lot to make sure that my sweet girl is going to get all of her nutrition needs. You have been such an inspiration, and truly so helpful in my new adventure as a ragdoll mama! I genuinely look forward to all of your cat vlogs, and would love to see/know your "grooming" routine... I'm sorry if you have done one and I have not realized it yet! I know most cats are not fond of water (for bathing) and mainly clean themselves, but I know ragdolls will require maintenance and care with their long hair/shedding. Any tips for getting her comfortable with baths/water? Thank you again for your videos, and sharing your sweet bond with little miss Bella! Sending much love from TN! ❤️

Aww thank you so much ! I would recommend on feeding less dry food when introducing wet food. Maybe try putting down the wet food without any dry and see if your cat has a nibble. Also once you work out if her prefers jelly , gravy or pate that will help ☺️💕

I only give Bella a flea treatment if she has fleas which has been twice. Both times I’ve used over the counter spot on and it worked just fine. They were gone within 2 - 3 days if that. Bella’s an indoor cat so I don’t feel the need to do it monthly. I use a flea comb too and regularly check her fur. I do a spot on wormer every 3 months. I also cut her nails myself. She goes to the vets once a year or more if needed but normally just once a year for her injection & a general check up. I don’t really see any point in stressing her out going to the vets every month when it’s not needed and it’s alot of extra cost that’s a little unnecessary if I can do it myself at home. Plus one time Bella went to the vets and came home with fleas 🙃💕
