Cat with the gopro got some fur in his mouth, so he won. Also, the other cat warned him in the beginning, but he kept approaching. I think it was two males fighting over territory and gopro male knew he would win and didn't want to bother with the young punk.

most animals do this actually, they're not as dumb as you'd think. at least those who live in urban areas. i've seen cats and dogs even wait for green light to cross the road or stand near the zebra crossing and wait for cars to stop.

Lol, mine too. He was just snoozing on my bed then I started playing this on the couch and he ran out of the room ready to fight. He ran to me like he was going to protect me from whatever cat was threatening me 😂. Eyes as wide as they could be, hair standing up on his back and his tail puffed up like hot marshmallow, 🐈‍⬛🥷🏽

But there are people who move out here thinking it's always quiet and smells pretty... Is it an intact male? If not, most likely you won’t see much action. Intact females will do stuff, but they don’t have the advantages that the male cats have in battle.

What do you make of the lip licking behavior of GoPro cat during the fight? Have you seen that before? I've observed my cats will sometimes do a fake shoulder lick which seems to communicate they don't think much of the other cat's bravado--a la, "I'm so scared of you that I'm going to wash myself."

That means you've got toxic plasmosis you get it from cats it attacks the brain & central nervous system..you've gone insane..seek help!..lol

I've seen my cats catch plenty of mice and birds but have never seen one eat an animal. I'm amazed by how it just gobbled the entire thing in one go 😲

Indoor housecats are usually overfed and couch potatoes. They are not hungry, so they dont eat their kills. Indoor/outdoor cats are far more active and burn more calories, so they will either eat it or bring it home as a trophy. Outdoor cats eat everything they kill because they are very active and always hungry. There's not much meat on a mouse.

My cat once consume a juvenile chicken once. He stole it, bring it to the backyard, only the heart remained.

Male cats eats mouses, Female cats bring it to its owners, then play with it. I suppose they eat the mouse too when they are not enough fed. Sometimes cats just leaves mouse's stomach, or bird's head. but it's still fascinating to see them eat it entirely. 😅 I have a male cat that I've never seen him hunting, but when my female cat bring a mouse at home, the mouse doesn't have time to touch the ground that my male cat has already eaten it like a spaghetti! My male cat is always hungry 😼

They Can see further into the UV spectrum than humans, but that doesn't help with hunting. Seeing more into the other end, into Infrared would, but seeing that cats are warm blooded, that's not feasible, as their receptors would need to be cooler than the rest of their bodies.

Wow I don’t know where you live but our cats in California do the same with Gophers which are at least 2 as large as the vole.

For some reason my cat eats the head and leaves the back legs and tail. Ack! She has dragged adult cotton tail rabbits into the house, almost as big as she is, and just eats the head. It's brutal but I love her. Nature is red in tooth and claw, I guess.
