I've tried bringing home a cat companion for my cat and his name is Boo Boo Kitty and he hated the other cat and hated me for bringing it home. Everytime I would say his name he would hiss at me. I would love to get another cat but he won't allow it

Yeah i dunno where she went to get those suggestions but that cat seem to desperately need toys and attention to get his energy off. He doesn't need punishment at all, yet ppl online told her to punish him... Spray bottles is a typical thing people used to do that just damages your relationship with your cat, and you might harm your cats mental health (creating stress or developping a fear which turn into aggression). I didn't know there was still people with only 1 braincell recommending that. I do NOT recommend water spraying your cat. The whole video i was like, come on it's obvious what the cat need surely dodo wouldn’t post a video with nothing positive in it? 😅

He needs more play! Kittens have 2 speeds, high speed and off (napping) LOL They have tons of energy to burn, need lots of toys, play, and some have too much energy for a person so really need another active kitten to play with.

They are both happy play fighting with eachother. That's just the energy they share. It's all good.

She named him "Boo Boo", but he never responded to that. So she calls him "Boobies" instead because one time it just slipped out like that and he actually responded to it. Most critters don't really care if their name is a human "boy" or "girl" name. I have a male cat named "Tabitha", because it means 'gazelle' and he's very tall-legged and sleek like a gazelle. He was a feral cat who just wandered into our yard one day, moving through the grasses when I first saw him. He always gets really happy and extra purr-y when I use his fullname even though I usually just call him "Tabby" for short; if I want him to approach me right away when I call him, instead of just leisurely making his way over to me more on his own time, I have to use his full-name. I tried several different names, even boys names, and Tabitha was the only one he actually turned his ears and face toward.

Yep. She's just using her "mean" cat for content and not correcting any of his behaviours or playing with him properly. And when she gets bored with him, is anyone going to want to adopt a cat that acts this way? Nope.

I have actually heard plenty of stories of the opposite, little fur angels turning into pissy demons upon having their nuts taken. I can't imagine why... It's why our boy Figueroa may never get "fixed". Because he's a good boy, doesn't spray all over the house, is a great listener, very patient with my smothering middle school daughter, and plays hide & seek with the dog. I'd hate to see him do a 180° towards the negative. Plus, I'd never be able to forgive myself. He deserves to keep his fuzz balls 😅

I use a spray bottle with my cats, but I hardly ever have to use it because I'm actually consistent with my training. This woman is doing it all wrong. She's not consistent and not teaching her cat anything. He misbehaves and she laughs. So squirting him randomly with water doesn't mean anything to him, thus it's not a deterrent.

Yep. It's like a parent with a little kid who swears, but the parent just laughs. So the kids learns that bad behaviour is cute.
