Cat5e with 66 Punch Down 

Preserving the twists to the pins should be the concern. Beyond that you might be looking at something else

Is that 66 block 5e rated? If not, it shouldn't be used for Ethernet cables. Given that the pairs must not be untwisted more than 1/2", I don't see how this would be suitable.

Maybe I missed it, but is it necessary to skip a slot when punching twisted pairs? If said isn't accomplished, will it cause connectivity issues? I am having connectivity issues at the 66 block when running TCP/IP on Cat5e twisted/shielded.

Wouldn't pointing the conductors at opposing conductors cause issues?
