This is currently bugged. Night 1: we killed omnitron norma, magmaw and chim hc. night 2: continue but we replace 1 person with a person without any raid locks. We enter and magmaw and chimaeraon is alive normal, we cannot enter hc. We kill magmaw and chim again on normal and hope to switch to hc on atramedes, we cannot, because the new player has gotten a lock to another raid id though he has NOT been in any other raid that reset. tried 2 weeks in a row, same issue. we think if we start second day with "reset instance" it fixes the id problem, because when we tried, the old people got into the correct raid with the right bosses down, sadly the replacement had already gotten the "wanna lock" message and accepted and that gave him wrong id.
basically killing a boss locks you for all bosses that are before him and are required to be killed first in order to access that boss. Nefarian is the last boss so he locks you for the whole raid, same for al'akir, and all of BoT bosses lock you on the bosses before them
Yeah pretty sure its wrong information, you cannot kill a normal boss like in retail when they had personal loot. It is not possible to clear the raid 20 times a week on normal and "dont receive loot" like on retail.
YOu talked a lot but didnt explain one important thing, can you do both 10 man and 25 man raids? You only talked aboout heroics vs normal but not 10 man vs 25 man
in the context, hpyotethically lets just say I only downed Magmaw with my guild on heroic and my guild decides to call it. But i want to continue. Can i just join to another raid that also only killed magmaw on heroic?
