@@doublezug7193 Any form of "reset" duration mechanic re-snapshots, including haunt resetting corruption. So you can't have a permanently bloodlusted corruption anymore, but snapshotting doom is highly valuable.
does drain soul damage update dynamically when we get to execute phase? in other words if i start draining at 30% does the tick damage increase after target goes below 25%? or that only happens if drain starts after 25%?
Been playing demo so far but wanting to swap to affli for some fights. When do you refresh dots with procs? If I hit a hurricane/power torrent, a darkroom volcano, a light weave etc, do I reset my corruption, UA etc? Or is that worth less than just shadow bolting
Refresh dots with procs active. You can grab a weak aura that shows you the dps or % damage increase you'd gain from refreshing/snapshotting your dots at that particular time.
Great Guide, thanks a lot! Would‘ve been nice if you explained on what you can snapshot now and what you should snapshot eg. Do I clip UA if I get a big SP proc
Yeah, given how broken the beta was I figured id wait to go to deep into the nuts and bolts of snapshotting/testing everyinteraction/etc. Once we get to release and all the bugs are ironed out and I can be confident things are fully tested and in their final state ill probably do a more in depth video about what snapshots and how to min max.
@@doublezug7193 Hey bro, you mind making that video now that full release is out? I'd like to be competent with my aff OS but have yet to find good info on the new snapshoting mechanics. Thanks!
@@recoverygose Yeah ive just been super busy with launch and I had to swap to disc/ele+resto mains for guild raid comp so I havent been doing as much with the lock.
Either they're greater than 20 yards from the mob you casted CoE on, or there's already a similar debuff from a different class on that target. A number of classes can apply the same debuff, and they will not stack.
Yes, cata has the first iteration of pandedmic built in (it was bugged on beta so i didnt go into it too much as I wasnt sure if it would actually be fixed by launch). This means that you can refresh your dot anytime in the last ticks window and you wont lost a tick, the additional duration will just be added on. This is why youll notice if you UA and then UA again instantly it will have a slightly longer duration than the initial cast.
