I’ve been leveling with sub. One shotting mobs with ~90% crit chance on ambush, alternating between shadow step and sprint to move from mob to mob. Once you get hemo (level 29) it feels a lot better when you can’t open with ambush (eg multiple mobs). It’s fun!
speaking from personal experience in the prepatch and from back in 2011 is that once you unlock some abilities, sub rogue one shots mobs. leveling is decent, but your aoe is nonexistent so pulling multiple mobs or doing dungeons might be a bit wonky. at least dual spec is cheap 😂
I've played some b rogue since day 1 vanilla and then monk when it was released nothing else. People knock sub so bad I just laugh cause they are clearly clueless about ambush and hemo
@@klxssify1861 Alright, thank you for the info! I believe that unless I'd join a hardcore speedrunning guild, 2-3% dmg increase wouldn't be justified to clear the content which isn't that challenging anyway.
Night elf gains the best from being a rogue but I like dwarf or human. Dwarf has stone form it's another cloak of shadows and humans have weapon specialist and rep gains
If you’re min/maxing human is the best race for rogue. You can use double damage trinkets with them Second would be undead. Just use what you enjoy more
