What is not being told here is a CME the size of the Carrington event will come in two waves. The initial event takes 8 minutes to arrive. The first wave is microwaves, gamma rays that will strike the satellites and the earth and cause some degradation in communication and possibly a little more illumination. Our satellites are designed to handle continuous radiation bombardment for decades while in orbit, and some can handle communication in the most radioactive environment. Where a Carrington event becomes a problem is 2-3 days later when the earth is hit with solar cosmic particles. They are highly charged particles, so they take more time to reach Earth. Well-planned powering down of partial or all electrical infrastructure and place satellite systems and infrastructure into safe mode for a couple of hours. Transforms and electrical producing infrastructure can have redundant fuses installed that can manually be hooked up. The Carrington event also has to hit Earth, and our orbit is vast, and we are tiny. The best mitigation and prevention is monitoring, planning, preparing, and exercising the plan.

I am researching information related to these kind of events for 20 years now and what is about to happen is something even bigger than just solar flares. It's something most cannot even imagine, because if they would, life on earth would be completely different. The whole solar system is periodically entering a photon belt of the central sun (every 10000) that "instantly" changes everything, it's an cosmological event that will last for 1000-2000 years. It's called by many cultures the "Golden Age" that induces rapid energetic and geological changes including a pole shift, rendering electrical grids useless like it is described in this video. But this is just one aspect! Everything beyond the 40th parallel north and south of the equator will become uninhabitable due to temperatures similar to those of an ice age. this is bull tweet. First, Im a electronics engineer. Even after a complete EMP event (electromagnetic Pulse), basic generators and other things can be restarted, like cars, and small generators. There will be NO world wide emp event that can stop basic physics. Yes, cell phones will be down, so will the internet will be down, and modern power systems that are geared from the GRID. But with the proper people and knowledge, the world could be up to a state similar to the 1930's, with basic radio, and limited electrical functionality. BUT, if a lot of people die, then we might lose the technical knowledge of restarting the modern civilization. People who are smart enough to live in a life style that EXCLUDES them from the modern GRID system, will do much better. Like solar power, and solar solutions of many types, like living close to the land, and being self sufficient. These are the kind of people who will do well in the next 30 years.

While it is extremely likely that we will experience a second "Carrington Event" this year, the solar flares are helping humanity to ascend into the Golden Age. I apologize. I caused some fearmongering and anxiety on the planet. The truth is, Spirit promised we will not see another cataclysmic event - I got that wrong. I was afraid we would. We are going to transition peacefully and communally (loving and supporting one another, working together and in harmony with the earth), and live in peace going into the future. We will make it to the “Golden Age” simply by loving, being kind and working sustainably in cooperation with community, and environment. I didn’t mean to fear and confuse the future. I have faith and love in Spirit now, so hopefully this faith will restore peace on earth. We were already doing fine. You left out the most important thing: the HUNDREDS (just in the U.S. alone) of Nuclear Power Plants that depend on hydraulic and electric pumps to control the cooling water flow that stops each nuclear plant from heating up until they melt down (think Chernobyl, and Japan), and that will contaminate the air, water, plants, aquifers, soil, and any animal (humans included) that is within hundreds of miles of a meltdown event. If you think what happened in Japan was bad, and that Chernobyl was a tragedy, then just imagine what would happen if every single one of our vast network of nuclear power plants went critical, and then went into failure mode - all at the same time. This ALONE would wipe out most of the life on this continent (animal and vegetable). It wouldn't take very long: while everyone was trying to repair the Power Grid, and restore the food supply chain (without success), and as Militia Groups and marauders begin to kill and rob people for their guns, food, and water, these plants would first switch into emergency back-up mode, and within a few weeks to a month, would begin to heat up and fail, killing by generating radiation a HUGE percentage of the populace. Most people wouldn't even see it coming, because most of us just assume that "they" will fix it, and that things like that are just "too big and dangerous for our government to allow them to fail" - if they know enough to even consider it a possibility. They have been using up this food and resource buffer purely due to the fact that there is no other supply of money left, all other supplies have been looted, like the countries state pension funds and in many cases even private pension funds are empty.
