I’m the mama of an 8 month old Catahoula. He is an energetic boy who is always looking for an opportunity to get into trouble. I wish we had another dog so he would have a best friend, but hubby is not a dog person. Thank you for this video- delightful. We go for long walks at the Beach at least 3 times a week. Brin loves to swim, and sniffs out gourmet opportunities as we walk the shoreline. Crayfish carcasses and sea urchins are his favourite snacks. When we are in luck he gets to play with other dogs on the beach before he goes home. I’ve had to run a hot wire around our chicken coop as he thinks the chooks are feathered chew toys. Fortunately he hasn’t killed one -YET!! Scent trails are his favourite new game. Once a week l run at least three scent trails around our property for him to track. Down along the creek, through the forest or around the fields. He loves it. He is also an excellent jumper, so I’m introducing him to a bit of agility now that he’s getting bigger. Keeping a Catahoula engaged and happy is definitely good for my exercise routine 🤣🤣
Nah they are very possessive and jealous adding another dog to the mix could be a disaster. They are solo dogs . Keep doggo busy with adventures daily. They are velcro dogs not to be left alone.
I absolutely loved this video. We have a small 5-acre ranch with various animals. Nothing as extensive as your property. You have beautiful land there. I loved seeing your houligans all playing together. I have a beautiful, and truly special Houla-tick named Sophie. She is so smart, brave, loyal, and so devoted to me. I loved seeing how they all followed you and were playing together. Made me smile today. So thank you for that.
Your red brindle in the background reminds me of Wyle E., she was an orange brindle Catahoula that I called my Tiger Cur. She lived to 15 and was an angel not a dog, simply omnipotent, and easily corrected Rotties, Rhoadie's, Pitties, German Shepherds and others. She was also the only friend that a 10 year old black wolf would have.
Would love to know more about this breed from an actual owner of one… they seem like such beautiful dogs the catahoula breed 😫 I wonder what are some pros or cons about the breed if any
Oh my, this is not a typical puppy mill. I prefer rescues, but this place is awesome. I am totally a Catahoula fan. Preferably if it's a mix Catahoula.
Hi! This is not a puppy mill at all. We have a farm and raise ponies, goats, dogs, and several other animals. We are in the process of planting fruit and nut orchards. Dogs are just one of my passions. These are my babies and pets. Not caged and crated mass produced income makers...

Police service or active service. Not a mobility limited situation sorry. They need and deserve lots of long daily walks, runs ect. And never kept in a apartment or small space- that would be cruel.
