I have a 1977 27 Catalina that I tell people I'm working on. Truth is I do a lot more thinking and planning. I like watching you work. Good job on everything I have seen you do so far. Where are you located? I'm in central Wisconsin.
Looks great! Just found your channel so you may have addressed this already, how did you remove the cabinet face and drawers? Was the 4 screws in the front the only thing holding it in?
Thanks for watching, yeah there were only four screws holding it, I haven’t reinstalled it so I’m not sure if it rests on the hull or not. I will probably figure out way to support the back.
@@Catalina27 Thank you! I am restoring a 1978 Catalina 30 and I assume it is similar set up on the cabinets. Last owner stained the teak dark, so I am pulling all the teak out I can, sanding, revarnishing it, and eventual putting it back in. I have pulled all the interior panels and railing, but I have not attacked the kitchen cabinets and drawers. I’ll take a look this weekend. Your video was very helpful.
