Love the video! Awesome review. My friend and I are looking for to go a week end of March. It all seems like a perfect fit. We're going to have some fun (we're in our mid 30's) but not party our faces off. Just want to relax and enjoy the resort. Few question tho. I keep reading about these a la cart restaurants. If I book a regular room all inclusive do we get to eat there or do we have to have the privileged upgrade. If we aren't in the privileged do we still have to pay in the restaurants? And would you say there's enough to keep busy for 7 days? Cheers

Very good question, if i have to categorize it...i would go from Cuba having less quality, Dominican Republic to be in the middle and Mexican having the best quality and delicious food at their resort. You will not be disappointed by Mexican standards.

By the end of the day you will find more, but definitely not a big deal. You will have a good time on the beach!

Very few...some rare occasion we found a section. But they temps to keep it vegetarian , vegan and meat eater.

Great video. I'm looking at this resort for this month (late August), not sure if it will be too hot and humid. We normally go to Mexico in December when the weather is comfortable. Also, was there activities for the older teens or young adults?

Hi Cindy, beside the animation, there is a disco club. But we didn't see much people there. The time we were there, the party moved to the beach bar. Plus there are paid excursions you can take. Have a safe trip!

@@TakyoTravel Yeah we usually go to mayan riveria the week of dec 8. It's always the best value at that time flying out of Toronto. We've been to a bunch of the other ones and just pick the best one at the time. I figure we'd make it here eventually🤓

The resort is among our top favorites. There is nothing flashy there. But everything is well organized and you will find lot of quality in the product. Enjoy your futur trip my friend!

@@TakyoTravel Just finished the video! Wow that was a great review, we'll definitely have to stop here one day. The last place we went to was Iberostar Paraiso Lindo and we loved it. At night there's like a little village with a crepe shop, tequilla bar, star cafe... Do you know of any other resorts in the Mayan Rivera that have little shops like that open after dinner?

Wow, I just look up Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, it's huge and beautiful! We didn't explore much around the Mayan Rivera so I won't be able to help. But I know that on Trip Advisor, you can post that specific criteria and people will be happy to help in your research.

We booked a package that included the transfer with our airline but there are many compagnies in Mexico that offer to do airport transport.

Absolutely love all your resort reviews. You both do a great job on covering everything we need to know about a resort. No one does it better. So very helpful when trying to decide where to go. Your little guy is adorable! Beautiful family.

Hi TimothyBrodeur, reading your message really warm my heart. Jayden definitely add some complexity, during the room tour, we had to cut a portion of it because he refuse to let us open the bathroom door 😅😆 i should have add that in the blooper add the end hahahhaha. I will take your advice, and will cherish these moment. I find myself sometimes telling Jayden to slow down because he grown up so fast and daddy is scare to miss a moment.
