I can’t believe the opponent didn’t take 6/5/9 in the first game with their 2nd pick. Seemed obvious. It would’ve blocked you from getting strong wheat and would’ve given him every resource with a ton of production. Instead he started with a road to get more ore. But he never had any wheat all game. I never understand why people don’t realize they need wheat to pair with good ore.
As long as you are within the timeframe, that the game provides for you, you are fine. And people who complain about speed are sad individuals, that play all day long, while they have nothing else going on in their lives. There is no need to be angry when they complain. Everything you can do is feel sad for them.
Imo, not a very fun video. the most interesting part of the video was that placement in game 1, very strategic. Game three you just out produced. Game 2 showcases a habit and playstyle I'm not a fan of. Just because you CAN plow somebody, imo, doesn't mean you should. Again, imo, but it makes for either a boring game (like game 3) where you're clearly gonna win, the only question is how long will it take, so the opponent likely resigns. The 8/3/10 didn't do much other than giving you better wood. I'd have liked to see you expand to the 6/3/11 instead and give red a fighting chance. I get you're playing ranked, but it would've made the video more interesting. I got to that point in the video, and skipped ahead to see them resign shortly after and then looked to see game three you just out produced to a third resign from the opponent. I'd prefer to see longer and closer games, rather than these blowouts.
