Thanks for listing the risks and side affects which should be included in a discussion prior to deciding on surgery. I did not know that risks are more for near sighted patients.
Very informative, the list of side affects are rather worrying though. im scheduled to have one removed on the 30th march but going to a function on the 8th April, will i be able to wear makeup by then?
Did the surgery fix the glare? Think there are also lens to correct astigmatism if you have glare from that. Heard Multifocal gives more glare than monofocal.
Thank you for being the dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor that you are #DrDanjuma You always go above and beyond and work tirelessly towards a healthy outcome. I feel so blessed to be cured from Herpes, Thank you doctor....
I have right eye operated for cataract at a distance with monofocal and will be operated for the other(left eye) for cataract. Can I choose multifocal for the left eye. What is the pro/con compared to monovision? I play table tennis a lot(2 hours/day) and use computer for work about 6 hours/day. Thanks
Your questions need a lot of research. Before you do monovision, try it with a contact lens. Blended vision = multifocal lens for the left eye, monovision = monofocal lens in the right eye.
