In this video Im targeting Catawba River Summer Catfish at Night! I had to catch some bait first, but as the evening closed in, the bite picked up. All in all it was a great evening on the river and I put some catfish in the kayak!!! Enjoy!

Do they ever drag your anchor? How about one rod holder dedicated to hold the rod in front of you as you unhook the fish? So many questions. Some pretty fish this evening. Swallow the bugs, don't chew. Bugs have to eat too. Thanks for taking us fishing!

Hey mark! 1)Yes, they pull me off anchor sometimes. 2) I have a rod holder that I use for unhooking but I usually just lay the rod in my lap. 3) I tried to chew that bug but he had a rather unsavory flavor.😂😂

Great video brother. I went Wednesday night and it was the same way. Bugs had bugs. Lol. Bet we was on the. Blues. Channels. And flatted.

Man it has to be nice on a lonely stretch of river . The lake is awful this summer. Those were some nice cats .

@@FlintHillCatfishing Im not new to fishing. I chek a few YT video's as make a gud fishing kayak besides buy expensive stuff right off the shelf. U R just right up the road from me. Lake Wylie is reknowned NATIONWIDE 4 catfishing. If we don't meet out on the river, be sure to wonder when you see hook marks on your next blue! I catch & release, too.
