I don’t understand why you guys keep your drag so loose. I fish the same waters you do and I got my drag set to move if I hook a big fish but not to scream like you guys have your set. I was just wondering the purpose

@@johnieharp8316 those kids just started learning how Creek fish in the past few weeks. They’re learning how to set their drag, set the hook, handle fish, it’s all a learning process. Thanks for the feedback.

@@johnieharp8316 there’s also a touch of nuance about line weight. I typically like to use 6 pound line. So the drag on mine will be a touch looser than someone who’s throwing 10 or 12 pound drag to keep the stress off the line and put it on the reel.
