What pound line do you recommend for gummies of the beach as i caught one by accident only today on a snapper rig with 20 pound line and and a 1/0 hook. Just got it in as i had to get it over some sharp rocks where the waves were breaking on the shore line. Am now really keen to go and get some more, should i be using heavier line?
Yer i would be using 60-80lb leader as when going for gummy you do get alot of bycatchs also this helps to land the really big ones. Your main line you can use 30-50lb
