It's a good thing we can laugh "but" it's really amazing how many people disappear climbing and hiking along the California coast line, I think it was 2012 a 27 year old marine went missing while hiking around the same spot, 5 months later body parts washed up along the beach. I had my own experience with a friend back in my high school (many moons ago) who I had to rescue off the cliffs just north of Bakers Beach. 40+ years ago we fished a similar spot across a plank to: Little Mussel Rock we called it. Long since washed away the planks anyway. I now look over the edge where Matts is fishing in this video and remember climbing up and down both sides often with Stripers on our backs and sometimes without a rope. Now I shudder when I look over the edge at what we did in our younger days.
