Fall crappie fishing is on fire the water temps has dropped and the big Gals are ready to play. The creek channels and timber are loaded with big crappie slow presentations is the key and small bait. Sometimes the crappie didnt always bite but they did some interest. Boat control was a big part of me catching the crappie using Power Breaks My setup was 17ft Ozark Rod 10lbs test line 3/8 weight 1/16oz hair jig lil stumpy Hey guys thanks for watching and all the support.. wishing everyone a safe Holidays and Happy New Year. Enjoyable video! I find myself talkin to them slabs too when Scoping. Those fussy ones I just hang it in their face motionless until they smack it. Sometimes they don’t and I move on like you did. Fall and Winter is an awesome time to target them big ones!

Do the heavier lead helps to hold jig steadier or is more boat control in keeping jig over the fish head or do the longer rod play a part?

Good question.. the heavier lead helps it get down faster.. but boat control is the key factor 100%

Thomas, a few quick questions for you…what’s your honest review of the Low Pro Rod Rack? Any pointers that I need to know about it? Thinking about getting one… Also is there that big of a difference on the 106sv versus the 126 sv…is it worth the price difference…?

I have been using the Rod Rack system for about 3 years now haven't had any problems with it .. one of the main factors about it..it allows u to use spot lock and stay on target.. i have both units the 126sv screen size and probably a lil bit clearer is the only factor I see over 106sv
