Catch Me If You Can: The Real Story with Frank Abagnale 

Frank is so private that literally all his speeches about his story are 98% same, the words, the speech delivery and the mannerism too! Almost like as if he has a script ready whenever he's asked to speak about his life. Such a master at illusions even now.

The irony is, of course, that he wasn't a great conman in the 60s and 70s, but eventually became the one he always wanted to be, the one you see right here.

It's fun to come back now, with the realization that this whole story is likely BS and he was still conning till the day he died.

Google just added a disclaimer to their Google Talk video with Frank. It's their way of saying he's a liar. All videos of Frank Abagnale talking about his past should start with similar disclaimers.

Its amazing how this guy has always conned people and he is still doing that by giving speeches with all lies being told and people paying yo hear his lies.

In the new book out, it says he never paid back restitution ordered. I knew it.

The real story is that he made up or embellished his escapades. He was a small time thief who never cashed millions of dollars of checks. During a good portion of the time he claims he did these things he was in prison for things like stealing cars or cashing checks on a very small level.

What a greatly empowering man. Dedicated to nothing else but providing for his family and lives with his actions every day. Fascinating case of a criminal turned productive member of society.

Im not convinced by his comments about it being immoral, I'm sure Frank enjoyed his adventurous times as a pilot, doctor and lawyer. You don't have to steal to survive.

I have received the scam phone call about my grandson. He described it perfectly. His Q-A session is good information. Those of you who find his testimony incredulous seem to not hear his perspective. Their harsh response seem disingenuous.

I love the family man party of his speech. Whether it be true or not.. he is certainly convincing and conveys a great message at the end of this talk. Hats off to you frank. Im glad you take full responsibilty and are man enough to admit it to the world 🌎 .

He is good at telling the story, to bad it's 100% fiction. He spent many years in prison where in his stories he is acting as if he is a pilot. All he is is a con man making money based on his lies.

Well I was in for a shock. Abagnale is a conman, no kidding. Alan Lane's book The Greatest Hoax on Earth documents and proves that Frank Abagnale did not pull off the masterful feats of deceit that he claims. He couldnt have. He was in and out of jail for crimes all through the years when he was supposedly this cast of characters. You tuber Javier Leiva has a series that exposes Abagnale as well. Hes a conman, just not the kind we thought. But it did make for a great movie.

And so many just have to chime in because of him...HAHAHAHA

Sometimes craziness and stupidity will lead into an amazing story that will be admired by many... We really can't tell what will be the outcome of the things that we do today... There are circumstances in our lives that will just happened that will lead us into the deepest meaning or purpose of our lives...and then when we looked back, we will just smile and appreciate life no matter how painful everything that we have been through...

I wish I could contact Frank. His Google speech made me feel so good about the FBI. I wonder what he thinks of them today - because I am disheartened by their since behavior. Frank was their best promoter but since Trump, their star is sunk into the sea of oblivion. In my world, my FBI is the enemy of the people. I am so ashamed of them now. I just wonder if Frank is thus disheartened?

What happened to that True persona

Frank uses a memory technique familiar to many Freemasons to memorise the 3 Degrees, this explains why he passed the `Bar exams in such a short time. Nothing is new ‘under the Sun’ as the ancient Greeks used similar techniques.

frank is an amazing individual even when he claims to "clear the record" he lies why? the true story is even more incredible and shows that no matter how intelligent or successful one becomes...it is easy to get conned by the likes of a guy who never actually graduated from high school

If his actions were so important to him why didn't he work for free and volunteer to help the FBI instead of making money off his illegal career...

I wonder if Frank Abagnale has ever assisted the CIA his skill set seems like it would be much more valuable to CIA. Also it is a shame that if this deal he made with the FBI was so successful he is the only criminal ever to be offered such a deal by the FBI seems kinda weird obviously any criminal offered this kind of deal would have to be seriously vetted or evaluated & be a genius to be of any valve to the FBI for them to even consider offering this type of similar deal he got but i have a hard time believing there aren't other Frank Abagnale out there who could benefit the FBI or other federal government law enforcement agencies. He is very lucky to get the deal he was offered by the FBI since they have never before or since given that kinda deal to anyone. That's my 2 Cents
