Starting my angler career here in Finland, and these videos just seems to be answering for every question I have after the first couple of sessions. Thank you! Season is sloooowly starting. Previous session I caught a season first chub, rudd and Ide. Couple of really nice roach, too. I'm after a bream and ide, but it seems they're still on their way.
Great video and great tips Andy, I've always hooked my maggots by either top or bottom depending on what I'm going after at a particular time of year. On a side note have got all the new hoodies and tees and am so happy with them
I always clean the crap off they put in the tackle shop and sprinkle a handful of chilli powder over them if red Maggy's if white it's some special g groundbait the morning before
Can I ask please when I fishing double maggot or triple and loose feed maggots around I always only seem to get the really small silverfish. Can seem to get to the bigger fish! Did think of a bulk shot but that wouldn’t look natural. Any help or advice please as wanting to target bigger fish and cut out smaller ones! Thank you
Using the groundbait til will help them smell better, try dusting them with it, leave them a few minutes, riddle them off and repeat then they should be a lot better.
If they smell of ammonia when you get them from the tackle shop I'd suggest you change the tackle shop you use as the one your using might not be looking after their maggots
