Eh, not really deer are actually pretty stupid. If they don't hear the gunshot they literally don't care if the deer next to them drops dead. They just act like nothing happened.

I lived out in the country and one afternoon after leaving the back door open I came inside to see a fawn laying with my dogs just watching TV enjoying the air conditioning. I would occasionally just show up and hang out sometimes. I tried not letting it in the house but it'd come on the porch, drink and eat the dogs water and food lol

I live in the country I get bobcats sunning themselves on my deck a couple times a year. They just hang out for a while total relaxed they don’t care if I go outside then they leave.

As stated before both I couldn’t scroll on RU-vid without hearing it. Just a fun fact even the cia will use loop music as a form of torture (enhanced intelligence)
lol when the guys at work ask me if I caught one when I get back from hunting 😂. Always makes me laugh i don’t even wanna answer them when they ask that.
"Nope, it outran me, they are fast" is the reply I give when I am asked if I caught a deer. That is just subtle enough to get them to realize how dumb that is.
strangely i've touched two deer this week, one was down in my creek and the wind was blowing towards me *hard* and making alot of grass noise, so I snuck up on it and she bolted when I tapped her. just to see if i could do it... then I lifted a faun out of a fence 2 days later no reason i'm telling you this... i just think it's cool and noone else I know thinks it's cool😂
@apokatastasian2831 getting to touch a wild deer is always cool!! I've never snuck up on one, but I have pet them as they walked by. Fawns are fun, too. I came home once to a fawn in my house. My wife and kid said "it just followed us in." We sat on the porch until the mom came around.

It's always funny when people ask you did you catch anything after getting back from hunting. Sometimes, I embarrass them a bit and say I caught one but let it go, other times I just say nope 😂
Rhat literally just broke my heart to see. That poor baby. Imagine seeing a human nearby that looks like ur mom/dad and going in a house to find it and discovering their head mounted on a wall. 😿 I pray this lil babe didnt actually know those deer.
People don't give animals enough of credit that deer knows something is wrong ive even noticed piranhas with different personalities and I would have never believed it if I hadn't witnessed it myself. God is good
It's very unlikely that they understand an abstract concept like mounting dead animals. They are probably confused as to why a deer is sticking out of the wall and why it doesn't smell like a deer.
that's fair in my experience there are loads of morals around it for most people, only kill what you can use, use the bones, skin, meat etc. its also why i don't understand hunting bears they are full of worms and the meat is crap.
@@jackelliott5146depends when and where you get a bear that dictates the flavor. It can change alot based on their diet. If they’ve been snacking on a shitload of sweet berries and salmon with alot of fat on them they are ridiculously delicious. If you get them post hibernation they can be pretty gross. If they’ve only been munching berries and honey the meat can be almost sweet, if they’re on scavenge mode with a poor diet it’s pretty bad. Their diet is so eclectic it can be a roll of the dice.
I don't think anyone realized this. Out of all of Disney Villains. The Hunter that killed Bambi's dad. The Hunter never got punished for their actions. Unlike all other villains. Literally got away with murder.
@yeoldeseawitch Well, within the context of Bambi. The Hunter is the villain. Now, he isn't a traditional. In turn, he gets away with doing it. So yeah.
