I was very lucky in being able to see them and Imminence for the first time together. Words cannot help me define the electric energy in that venue. When I tell you I nearly jumped out my skin when Catch your Breath walked on stage, please believe me. To be able to say I randomly came across one of their videos early last year and a mere year later I was able to see them live on stage is a dream come true. Thank you guys for rocking Sacramento !!!

Fun bit of trivia: A three-volley rifle salute for military funerals is different from a 21-Gun Salute, even if the firing squad has 7 members/21 shots. A 21-Gun Salute is rendered for the President and visiting heads of state, with lesser officials getting smaller salute. Official 21-Gun Salutes are only used for Presidential funerals. So if you want to get technical, the singer is saying he deserves to be President after his breakup.

I was super impressed wit h you guys at Aftershock 2023. one of my favorite sets of the festival.

I really like this song and the idea behind it. It is hard for me though, being a staunch supporter of our first responders and veterans who truly deserve a 21-gun salute, to think that surviving a breakup is on the same level as risking one's life for freedom and the greater good. That said, I definitely get the metaphor and love the passion and talent behind the song.
