In this video, we are trying to catch a swarm of honey bees....like a bunch of rookies. It's worked. Get your Bee Hives here: amzn.to/2YcSypd Get you swarm trap here: amzn.to/2BHVKlm
I've raised bees, this is my first attempt at hydroponics. I'll get there, so will look. It broke my heart when I saw you dump the hive into that box. I know you killed alot of bees by doing it that way. Once you cut the limb, gentler place the hive in the box. It would be much better to use an empty hive box to place the hive in. You can rub fruit tree leaves inside the hive box. It encourages the bees to stay put. Once the hive settles down a bit. Gently rack the bees off the top and then place your hive top with trays on top, you are all set. Another thing, if you wait the entire swarming hive will settle on the branch. Do not be afraid of them. They are very docile during their swarm. Good luck.
This is the greatest video I've ever seen , that was amazing I just started my own garden on a acre lot , next First Fruits i'm panting my fruit trees . and will work on getting my own hive . Thanks for that video pal ...
It's funny how the compression algorithm make the swarm fly in front of the trees looks like a GC. It looks like the bees disappears in front of the trees. The algorithm may think that the bees are noise.
that was great . I think you would like my friends videos on bee keeping. He's at HIP BEE EXPLORER. He also is a gold prospector, and paydirt. tell GS PROSPECTING sent you over he'll like that . GOLD SQUAD OUT!!!
If you waited they would have all settled down around the queen, then you could have just used a little smoke and Bentley raked them in a hive box. Nice if you could have rubbed the inside with peach tree leaves
