And thank you sir! I usually scout my section I fish most...cuz it close. And I try to clean up line I find, lures, sunken &/or floating plastics, among other not fishing related garbage. I try to take extra bags everytime I'm out to clean up what I find best I can. I agree, it's kinda bad sometimes.
The damn catfish are eating that river alive. Small mouth fishing has gotten pathetic between Hugenot Flatwater and that 14th st bridge. Anybody else notice the decline in the past 15 years?
Been within 40° water temp for a few weeks. Even when we got that warm up . But river was too high where I'm at and RIPPING. Wasn't trying to wade. Even in insulated waders...too much current
Bro I’m from Miami… I have been traveling for a year now with wife and kids Avid angler and have plotted everywhere. Now I’m in RVA and dying to fish. I’m on James River now as we speak. Water levels are real low and I don’t find fast moving water. Would love to connect.
I had a feeling there were monsters here. All the locals I asked said you can catch Shad and trout. I followed the river on the map and I knew there had to be monsters in here.
That’s what the big blue cats do they usually give up quick and it’s practically like your fighting a log and when they get to the surface they start doing the death roll my biggest was in Charles city Va but I literally pulled it up in 5 minutes
