Join us, Tom and Owain, as we continue our adventure on the incredible River Wye. In this video we continue our efforts from the previous part 1, but on this occasion we manage to achieve the target and get our hands on some beautiful barbel.

Simply the best video I've watched in years. There is something pretty special about catching them when waist deep... gives the canoists a bit of a shock when you're mid-river!

Thank you very much! Yeah it’s a really special way of fishing, nothing beats being in the river up to your waist catching fish after fish. Yeah the canoeist get a little startled when they see you stood in the middle of the river. Shocks them to say the least, had a few close calls with them just missing us as they rushed past 😂

Great angling guys, no egos or selling product. The float and correct feeding always wok on a low river

It’s a style of angling that many people don’t tend to do these days and it’s a real shame because it’s some of the best fishing anyone can do

The beat we fished was fairly fast flowing so yeah we did tend to hold it back a little to slow the drifts down 👍
