Catching baseballs and eating TONS of free food at Citi Field

SUPER FUN DAY at the Mets game. I teamed up with a couple of kids to catch 11 baseballs during batting practice, and then we headed to the club level. Great view. Unlimited food. The Mets hit home runs in each of the first three innings (including a grand slam!) and blew out the Miami Marlins -- what more could you ask for?

Honestly. Zack has done so much good with these videos. I mean seriously. How many of the kids that were there during bp would be there if Zack wasn’t making these videos? He’s single handedly provoking kids to have interest in baseball and to actually go to games. (Not that kids wouldnt go to games, but the interest is so much higher due to these videos) Well done zack!

My wife got us field box seats down the first base line, just a little bit up from the Mets dugout. Between innings, the Mets tossed balls into our section to a bunch of kids close to the field. That was cool to watch. Even cooler ... The Mets won. But the best thing was watching this video to see the experience you gave those two young fans. Keep that up!

I’m really happy I found your videos. My SO is coming up to visit me in June and he’s a huge Braves fan so I got us tickets to the Braves/Mets game and have been so nervous as I didn’t know what to expect and I like to know things start to finish lol. This definitely helped ease my worries about the unexpected and about how it’s totally okay to wear Braves attire :) these are so entertaining haha

I see others have said this, but, they sell those bases to fans. Three times the bases, three times the $. I think they're around $250 and then at least at the Fenway souvenir store you can get a "clearance" one for $150. It's cool that they have the team logos and the date right on the base, so you could get your birthday or a game you went to or something. Still I wish they'd do giveaways at the park, like, Okay, there are three bases, times 3, can't one of those go to one lucky fan at the end of the game? Stuff like that.

I couldn’t help think how funny it would have been if before the game, the kids told Zack “Let’s play catch !”, but Zack didn’t have a ball.. 🤣 Great video ! Love seeing the great food options at the different stadiums. Zack made these guys year, by hanging out with them ! 🇺🇸

alonso. The charity is “Pitch in For Baseball”. It provides equipment and funding for underprivileged youth baseball. They stepped in after hurricanes and in areas where the funding is non-existent etc.. His effort is called “Ballhawking For Youth Baseball”. He donates money based on the balls he catches, donations and other fundraisers. He caught a ball worth a small fortune and returned it to the hitter. He only asked for a nice donation to his charity. He could have gotten rich off that ball, but didn’t. Zack’s efforts are often criticized wrongly. 🇺🇸

Another reason why they clean the infield dirt was because of what happened to Ed Kranepool back in the 1970's. Late in the game, the infield was not in good shape and a ball took a funny bounce. Kranepool complained to MLB and then a rule was put in place that at least once a game the infield dirt must be raked.

As working in the ground crew about half of the bases that you answered was right. One yea to make it look pretty two you have to make sure the base stays dry so they don’t slip rounding the base

Hey Zack, Just a suggestion If you go back to citi field, I don’t know if you noticed but in that Hyndai Club Section there is a Handicap section that is actually open to the public, I bought them last minute off of stub hub and didn’t realize they were handicap and got there and they said anyone can sit there. There is a lot of room there and an increased chance of foul balls.
