Love your videos!! I had spinal cord surgery and having difficulty walking these days…. I used to be an avid wader… I really miss the water… watching your video takes me back out there!!! Thanks
Moved to Texas (Hoosier boy) and started saltwater fishing early 80's. We waded The Pass at dawn, front and back (no lifejackets) and all of West Bays south shoreline (plus the rest of the Galveston Bay system). I remember twenty trout limits, nothing under 25 inches. Guides would get pissed off at us for releasing fish. The bays, oyster reefs and wildlife took a real hit from hurricanes and freezes but with care it will bounce back. I hear people saying the released survival rate is so low...100% the ones in the box or on the stringer won't survive. Cheers 🎣🤠
Hearing all the complaints about the new limits and slot is funny and frustrating. Ive heard it mostly from inexperienced or ignorant folks. Sad how far behind the freshwater world we are in conservation. Love the videos and your attitude and approach. Keep up the great work.
Man, that is awesome... I used to love wading in near Jumbile Cove near Indian Beach until they wouldn't let you park anymore... pretty much gave up wade fishing G-Bay after that, but I miss it. Keep it up.
Awesome catches !! I have done a lot of jetty fishing and surf fishing... just getting into wade fishing... Could you share you setup ?. Can never makeup my mind in the store. I love trout but want to be prepared for anything like that jack and gar 😊

@@The80eightball I am using a Waterloo rod, but I recently have gotten into ET coastal rod company. It is a texas made company and all of the blank they use are made in Texas they are high-quality rods. You can find them on instagram if you want to check them out.
Not worried about fisherman going to the spot you just named dropped but all the trash that is going to appear there now. More than likely they are going to not allow parking
