You see I've always hated old ladies that are feeding the birds in parks, Terry the pigeon. Behold the younginator! It will turn the elderly into teenagers and they won't care about feeding them anymore until the birds starve!
I recognized it but never could quite tell the name of these Dove's; I know I liked seeing them around. I don't quite understand the recent trend of claiming that they're nostalgic I think people are going through a placebo or something, cause there's lowkey no reason to be nostalgic, it's like being nostalgic just cause you saw a dog or something.
@CoolOkay_ Sometimes nostalgia comes with sadness, which is what their coos may make you feel. I will, at times, get that feeling too, but it just makes me happy to hear them again. But I do agree. People are feeling a little too much about these birds.
@@soundclowned True, they're not not declining, they have a healthy population right now. If anything, my favorite bird from my childhood would probably be the sparrow
Dude, that myth "Birds are drones" is so old and fake! I guess you need to be slapped multiple times by Will Smith, so you'll wake up from your delusions.
Well, I’m pretty sure pigeons and doves are a domestic breed since we’ve used them as messengers for many decades. They are surprisingly intelligent creatures, even if they don’t look like they have more than 3 braincells.
Most smaller Birds are terrified of humans. The *BlueJay* is a rare exception, and will openly divebomb/attack humans who get close to it's nest. The larger ones (such as cranes, geese, chickens, ducks, penguins, and ostriches) are typically less intimidated.
No, he said “who?” as in “who the […] do you think you are sneaking up on me?” It’s actually a Karen pigeon. You’d know that if could hear its thoughts. But you can’t.

As a very old dove mama, I can tell that the bird was in shock. Doves are very docile and innocent birds, when you shock or surprise them their mind goes blank for a brief moment thats why the poor bird didn't resist
@@wealthybone2990because it's a prey animal... Prey animals will get easily scared, that poor dove could've died from fear, literally You don't surprise grab a poor bird like that, they can easily have a heart attack
. This is a dove, not a pigeon. It seems to me that she has a gastrointestinal disease. Look carefully, she was lying on her entire stomach, with her tail touching the ground. That's why it's easy to catch.
@@MrMarcusRoland it’s not a domestic pigeon, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a rescue or shelter animal that was released. it’s really easy to make a dove friendly to humans,so the same overall concept you had might still apply
Yea don't grab birds. One got into ky house as a kid. My dad snuck up on it and grabbed it to release it back outside. Poor thing heart must've exploded cuz my dad said it felt like a vibration in his chest then immediately stopped 😞 poor thing we were just trying to help
@@QueenMizu grabbing one to try and help it is ok. I recently found a bird that couldn't fly and I had to grab it to take it to animal control. It should always be avoided if possible though. With one in a house you could use blankets to try and herd it to the door
that’s because it was literally in shock. doves are, by nature, docile and calm animals, and when you startle them they’re minds can’t understand that level of sudden fear and they’re minds go blank for a few seconds (aka SHOCK). i get that to most people birds - especially wild, common ones like mourning doves - seem stupid, but they really aren’t in the grand scheme of things. they can’t talk and they’re generally easy prey for most animals, but they do have the capacity to remember trauma for their entire lives, even if it occurs while inside the egg still forming.
- [insert something here] will remember that doesn’t always mean it was something bad that was being remembered. Like if you saw a cool video and remembered it, that doesn’t make the video bad. It just means that it’s catalogued within your memory. So, deep, congratulations! And be smarter next time. @cz5836 I used to catch a lot of critters that you could call prey. Doves and pigeons in particular just seemingly don't fight at all compared to others. Even with other birds
My cat has definitely caught things and purposely didn’t kill them just to be sure he could. Fucker brought in a chipmunk and I didn’t even know they around me
"Oh dear lord, let go of me you monstrous beast! You dare lay your hands on such pristine and elegance that is my feathers! I'll have you in court and prison you go!! Such a incredulous simpleton, interrupting my beauty sleep!!" -Mourning Dove
The pigeons are so friendly at my school that they just let you pick them up and they don’t struggle sometimes to even walk onto your hand and because I’m such a weirdo freak now everyone calls me the pigeon whisperer because I put them on my shoulders but they are pretty cute
I was at the station once near a flock of pigeons just chilling there for some reason, when me and my friends went near them they all flew away like normal. Except one pigeon which accidentally flew the wrong way then had to turn around midflight. THAT'S WHERE IT F@#$ED UP! I seized my opportunity while it was turning and caught the fat winged potato 😈 it started flailing about and panicking like crazy so I let go and it flew off, no idea if it rejoined its crew but I'm sure it caught up. If it failed to then... I guess it began its villain arc and has been seeking vengeance ever since.
@@ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh7833 aww crap don't get me paranoid. I'm already paranoid everytime I walk by a flock of pigeons because I can never know if it's the one I messed with that time. Also ever since I've had birds shitting on my car almost every single time I go out which is annoying because I try to keep it clean but they just keep busting it up with their rapid fire turds. Doesn't help that my neighbour has a garbage truck which attracts these pigeons all the time. Every now and then when I go to my car they just stare at me menacingly probably thinking "one day we will strike and show no mercy". So yeah I guess we're complete opposites when it comes to our relationship with pigeons 😂😅
Rather than discarding it immediately they should've kept it until they reached the old hut where it can traded over for a level 17 magic staff, basic strats.
