I almost cried when Jennifer told that she is disappointed in the media because they tell you what's beautiful and what's ugly. I'm a teenager and I'm struggling with my body and to hear Jennifer say how dumb the media is just feels so good. She's my idol and she's amazing! If Jen sees this I wanna thank her for being such an amazing person.♡
S Flores I mean she went dead in the ear and learned to do archery while on the set. I think she did a great job playing Katniss but there are actresses that auditioned that looked more like the character like Hailee Steinfeld and she’s also a lot like Jennifer Lawrence. I think Hailee Steinfeld would have been just as good but Jennifer Lawrence is also amazing :)
Worst host ever. Doesn't even start with a conversation to make her guests feel at ease. Doesn't respond to Jennifer's answers and doesn't use the internet questions as jumping off points for an in-depth discussion. Corporate to the bone.

Yeah, I guess you have to be a massive fan of Lawrence or a massive fan of Hunger Games to watch this because wow, was this one terribly boring interview.
What do you expect people always criticize their host they’re only trying to do their job just calm down. You try hosting a conversation in front of millions of people watching!
Why is the CEO of Yahoo doing the interview? I saw them do this for Google and Facebook and they had professional interviewers...guess Yahoo doesn't have much going on.
Totally my first question when I see this too. Jennifer is awesome she creates madness on the Internet but why does it take the CEO to do a promotional interview like this?
I was in a production of RENT where we performed in an old train station. The station was no longer in use, but trains went by the tracks all the time... I know your feels Catching Fire cast and crew...

I would like to see the story told from Johanna's point of view. You fer a slightly more cynical view and you get to see the story of what happened when she and Peeta were captured.
the host is so awkward. like after funny things she doesn't even respond. it feels so quiet. she just reads the questions they answer and she moves on.
yeah my point exactly, I think she should be cut some slack since she's not a professional interviewer, but it's kind of weird that she chose to interview the cast herself...I guess she wants to show how much Yahoo values the community of Tumblr (which Yahoo recently acquired)
Jen reminds me so much of my little sister Linda (82kiQoD3ixA) in so many ways, even little things. Linda was annoying to me when she was a kid, but i figured out it's just cuz she gets excited easily and loves interacting with ppl. And they're both intuitive, Jen even more so. Jennifer is such a sweetheart, I wish I could give her a hug ^_^
Everyone below, the host (Marrisa Mayer) is probably too busy running all of Yahoo! to brush up on her subpar interviewing skills. I'm sure she's much more used to being interviewed than the one interviewing.
I love her but I think that being that stunning it's quite easy for her saying that the whole "you-have-to-look-in-a-certain-way" topic is wrong and you shouldn't care about your appearance. On the other hand I think that she is a very good role model for young girls
people always say that when they see someone beautiful but the person my feel exactly like you do. They may not see themselves as beautiful and have the same insecurities. Just bc you think someone is beautiful doesn't they find themselves that way or other people see them that way. And Jen has always been pretty too me but no one was saying how stunning she was during Xmen, winter's Bone etc etc She's just saying you don't have to look the way people want you to look. Be yourself and be stunning by looking the way you are. If you want to workout do it, diet do it or if you don't want to then don't. She's just saying be who you are and don't worry about what others want you to be. I think people take what she says the wrong way just because of how she looks. Well, she eats what she wants but she works out. If it was a bigger person saying those things then it wouldn't be an issue of it's easy for her to say that. Everyone should have the right to say things like what Jen says if its genuine no matter how they look. :)
