As usual you gave it yer lot and you got some decent fish which was great. Those cod have real nice markings not like you catch in the channel mate. Tight lines buddy n take care. 😊
Another nice Video Wayne and with scenery like that a fish is a bonus, but I have a couple of questions, why do you use such long traces, I used to think my 4ft Pulley rigs were long and why do you use a multiplier when you need to retrieve line so fast, surely a fast fixed spool would be better and would cast just as far.
Ok, that would be why you have such a long trace, as far as fixed spools are concerned as I'm a boat owner and mainly fish from the boat I'm no expert caster with Multipliers and only have to cast a max of around 40 yards, so I use a fixed spool from the beach and so I'm used to them and with my Conti rods I can still manage 130 yards, but they do wind the gear back fairly quickly, when I see anyone winding in with a Multiplier it looks so awkward and time consuming, horses for courses.
Wyan why don't u hang a bag with some stones off the inside of the camera legs to stop ur camera blowing over wyan..and the same on ur tripod a bag of stones to give u a bit of weight on them..wyan
