I had something similar happen to me. You don't realize that pain can make you go out like that until it does. I split my knee open and ended up waking up to EMS and an ambulance. It's wild how fast life can change

@@TheWillyP3 Yup some peoples bodys are... more efficient.. than others at shutting down when it's had enough lmao. I've hurt myself and been in the ER more times that I can probably remember and never fainted to pain. Been knocked out by hitting my head/being hit in the head ya but straight up passing out from pain is wild.. I almost didn't feel right watching that part of the vid :/ Seeing his arms tense up and head hit the floor bro I skipped forward so quick I don't wanna see that lol. As to OP, the waking up part was funny I agree haha but the actual fainting part was scary. People have died like that.

Yea man. Gator Gars are amazing! I have caught them more ways than I'm proud to say. Little juvenile on a spinner and a very lucky hook set. As soon as the tension was off against the bank he was gone. Found one in the salt reeds sunning I guess. Slipped a rope on him before he realized it. Just a little 2 foot gar. Caught a few 2 to 3 foot ones in a rain ditch. Was walking by and spooked one. That pool was full of them. I was cast netting for bait to catch gar. Well I guess the splashes from the net made one curious. RIP net but I caught a 3 footer. Lol. Then a few on standard rods and rigs. But they are intelligent for fish. If you pick up your rod too fast and they feel a change in the tension, they will likely drop it or just not take it all the way. Also, I have watched them push bait fish up into cuts or shallows on multiple occasions, for easy pickings. The largest gar I've seen doing this would push them up into a small cut until the fish were beached then would sit and wait for them to flop back in and snatched each up. This was at least an 8 to 9 foot gar. Long as a full sized 2x4, plus. I tried to catch it but after 4 hours I got only 1 run. I was too excited to let it run long enough. At least I got to feel the weight for a few moments. 😢. Please let them live if you aren't serious about eating them.
