Yes we were. This was in the summer months. You can catch them all summer if you can bare the heat!

The water is pretty dark. The best way we find them is when we can smell them and if the Lilly pads are moving a lot. And we do use the fish finder. Lots of gators and yes a ton of bass fisherman too
