I live in Jonesport, Maine. I lobster fish for a living. This is the best year we've ever had, price wise. Everybody that doesn't know, you want Maine shedder/new she'll instead of hard shell. They taste way better and sweeter. I'd like to get a go pro and show the process. It's hard work for sure

Mini jets are the truth. I have a 532 CI BBF 22' miller with a berkley and a 10' NZ designed mini jet with a GP1300 R 2 stroke and a yamaha jet wrapped with patina. You are correct. It is a blast!

I was born in Key West and we'd go out all the time and snorkel for crawfish (that's what they call the lobsters there). You really need some good thick gloves for it, because their spines and the ridges on their tails are sharp and they can cut you up without them. Man, there's nothing like the taste of fresh crawfish tails, right off the boil. 😀

When it is 100° out playing in the water is much nicer then strapping on a fire suit and climbing into a race car. For us seeing the ladies in the summer wear don't hurt either.
