Blue Gabe, I enjoy every bit of your videos. When I was growing up in Jamaica, my family and I moved around a lot. Most of our moving adventures were set in close proximity to the Great River and other popular rivers around St. James and Westmoreland (I actually use to play soccer with friends in Lethe and go swimming in the great river to cool down). I remember living on these rivers almost every weekend and couldn't wait for summer time for us to spend most of our days (sometimes nights) catching crawfish ("crayfish" as we call it), mullets, and eels. I could go on forever with the memories that you've sparked here, but that's that! Fast forward several years and I now live in Miami with my wife and kids, and often times I tell them about my younger exploits growing up in the country. Often times they think I'm making up some of the stories. lol. Fishing and swimming in those rivers and just taking in the whole environment and the vibe of the people around you is one of the most zen experiences one could ever have. I'm delighted that you have had an the opportunity to get a taste of Jamaica and the land that I love so much. I love Florida, but I always say the one thing that is missing for me living here in Miami is a good river - one that I can swim and catch some good "Crayfish" and "Mountains" (that's what we call the big ones that you caught). By the way, we use to do it by hand. PUshing down our hand under and between rocks to pull them out. That strategy I'm sure you'll agree isn't for the faint of heart. Yu haffi brave! (you have to be brave). lol. Awesome video and thanks for being such and amazing human being. You and Kelly are awesome (hello to Lauren as well)!
