THIS is why I love fishing. You just never know what you're going to catch.

Dude that's funny I went over there a couple times caught one little medium fish but the way you caught three different species of what little while that's amazing bro that's a great day at Balboa

That's insane... LOL the only thing I've ever seen in there with Tilapia. I can't believe how many things are actually in that water. Time to stop jogging around Lake Balboa and actually fish it

The first Pleco is illegal to release. It is invasive aquarium fish.

This was a sick vid! I’ll definitely sub to you. I haven’t caught anything for a year and got discouraged but I built it up again and now I’m gonna go fishing more. I usually fish at Lake Balboa and use worms or trout magnets. I was wondering what bait are you guys using? I’m so desperate for a catch 😂

Thanks! I used a small size 6 mosquito hook with a small worm. I didn't have to cast very far at all

@@freshcaughtfishing487 thanks! Before my dad left last year we would always fish with worms and a split shot weight or a dropshop rig and we would catch everything. Thanks a lot.

I caught my first and only ever fish there a few weeks ago, an absolute slob of a tilapia. But I’ve lost three lures in the spot I fish which is near a foot bridge by the boat rentals. Where was this in balboa?

Yes, some sort of armored catfish. They are an invasive species, you should have killed it and tossed in in the trash can. They are bad for the native bass.

@@mikesumner5129 hey Mike I'm a fisherman myself I'm down to throw the invasive thing away do you think the game Warden would care if they saw me do this?
