Catching The Penn Central Heritage Unit At Night - Leetsdale, PA. Enjoy some night-time railfanning from the very active Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Line thay goes to the Conway Railyard. In this video we caught a few trains make their way through Leetsdale including a huge train with 190 cars on it. The star of the show was the Norfolk Southern Penn Central Heritage Unit. This was my first time catching the unit so I had no choice but to wait even if it was dark. Hope you enjoy!

So with this latest catch, Wallie has seen 14 of the 20 NS Heritage units. Of these 20 8/10 have been GE-ES44AC, and 6/10 EMD-SD70ACE units. The only units he hasn't seen yet are EMD-SD70ACE are 1065(Savannah and Atlanta),1066(New York Central),1071(Central RR of New Jersey),and 1074(Delaware Lackawanna Western), and for the GE-ES44AC's are 8099(Southern), which may not be around for a while due to a derailment, and 8102(Pennsylvania), if I'm correct.

Just wait until you see tomorrow's video. Lol I saw Savannah & Atlanta in it. Haha the Southern I have also seen. Just didn't put it on camera. I saw it sitting from a distance on the siding in Trafford, PA before it was nursed over to Altoona.
