Hi Merel, my heart goes out to you. I was 23 when I lost my dad in 2003. It's just awful and I'm so sorry for you. I still miss him, so a note to the future Merel, be gentle with yourself through the years. We never "get over" the loss of a loved one, so please don't feel like because it's been X-number years that you should be over it. There will probably be people that are cold and/or have never experienced what you experienced that will say that it's been so long and you should be over it - don't listen to them. There is nothing wrong with you - it's just the way grief and loss is. When you're going through time, it feels like it's been both a long, long time and like it was just yesterday all at the same time. Hang in there, do what you love and take great care of yourself. Hi Merel, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. This past year and a half has been so rough overall and to then also loose someone so close to you, it's hard. I wish you all the best and it's good to see that your art helps you in manundifferent ways ❤
