I assume you mean tears of joy? best lesbian film ever! I had to get dvd so I can watch when I need to be reminded of how intense WE♀♀ can be- in a good way of course!
@@mellooney4351 which one is better? Until this day, one of the few movies that is as good as the book is "one flew over the cuckoo's nest". I cried my eyes out. I haven't read "The Price of Salt" I will definitely do it. I loved the film, I cried a lot.
Exactly. She was speaking about Rooney, not her character in the film. And then she was in instant like ,,daamn, shut up Cate, it's public place and you have a husband!" That was so funny😂:)
I can't stop smiling!! My cheekbones are hurting!!! Love these two so much in Carol! Perfect chemistry!!! Wish we would have a Carol 2 movie sequel with Cate & Rooney again!!
I don't think they fell in love while filming. They didn't have a lot of time together in between filming sessions and on weekends they went their separate ways. They admired and respected each other though. I believe their deeper feelings for each other developed during the months-long promotion of the film leading up to the Oscars. You can actually watch it develop during each public appearance and film promotional interview leading up to the Oscars. The tension in the room was palpable, even through youtube. And on Oscar night you can read Cate mouth "Rooney" as she thinks to herself when she first lays eyes on Rooney that night. It was excitement and relief for Cate to finally spot Rooney in the crowd. The whole thing was magical from the first time they met (which was on a stage where Rooney presented Cate with an award) all the way through to Oscar night. Or so it seemed to me.
@@folksin42CATE LE HABIA ECHADO EL OJO A ROONEY CUANDO LA VIO POR PRIMERA VEZ EN LA PELI ..LA CHICA DEL DRAGON TATUADO AHY SE OBCESIONO EN QUERER TRABAJAR CON ROONEY TENIENDO MAS OBCIONES PERO CATE QUERIA A ROONEY SI O SI...🥰💘💕
Frequently attractions happen at work between people that sometimes develops into sex or a full blown relationship. No doubt feelings were there. Both live in different worlds in real life. They have moved on and tucked it away for another time in space.
I respect both of them for their input on same sex relationships, but mostly, I think they're both genuinely courageous to be frank about their love for acting and these specific roles and their working relationship in spite of the numerous videos implying they're gay or had a sexual affair during filming.
Just because people have chemistry and get along, it doesn’t mean they’re in love. I think they probably did come to love each other and each others work, but that’s probably all.
This video is so good😂👌👌 Imagine Cate telling you she is in love with you. Omg! I mean lets face it; you don't have to be gay to feel like that about Cate, it's just her magic putting spell on you and there is nothing u can do about it.🔥😎
The beginning of the video ..the answer is accurate..chemistry between characters on screen comes naturally ..no matter how much of a big actor you are ..if u don’t have chemist with someone they u just don’t ..

I found the movie too rigid. Not a fan at all. But we all have our tastes and that's okay. Not bashing either of the actresses down at all. I don't or liked the casting of them together in this film. I found it flat, boring and had zero chemistry between the two of them.
WHAT? I thought they had fantastic chemistry. Maybe because the character of Therese was inexperienced? She had all these feelings for Carol but had no idea how to express them, she was so YOUNG. It was the 1950’s! So perhaps it came across as “boring” because of the inner build up of each character - each too afraid to outwardly show their attraction for one another. I found Carol’s slow, covert seduction of Therese to be very sexy.
There is so much feeling exchanged in their looks, and their silence and what they spoke and what hey didn't speak. People these days have become numb to this beautiful subtly because they are constantly bombarded with loud, fast action movies.
