This is a video of chert rock excavation taken on August 29, 2022. Suzuki Kogyo is cutting raw chert rock from the top of the mountain.
The excavated chert stone is hard and of very high quality, so it is used as garden stones for hotels and other facilities, or processed into products at plants and used in land preparation work for housing and other purposes.
A large Caterpillar D8L bulldozer weighing approximately 38 tons is in use. Although it is a very old bulldozer, it is still in active use because it is durable and powerful.

2022年8月29日に撮影した原石掘削の様子です。鈴木興業では山の上からチャート原石を削っています。
掘削したチャート石は硬く非常に品質が良いため、ホテル等の庭石として利用されたり、プラントで製品に加工されて住宅等の埋め立て工事に利用されます。
キャタピラーD8L約38トンの大型ブルドーザーが活躍しています。とても古いブルドーザーですが、丈夫でパワフルなため現役で活躍しています。
