I would have never thought you could have gotten that out. You are a class act , the emotion in your voice and your loyalty to that family is overwhelming. Stories like this helps cement my reason to be a man in todays world. God bless you sir. Salute!
When I farmed in Ohio , I had good neighbors like this! Drop what they're doing and help you out ...no charge!! Tim knows that to have a good neighbor you gotta be a good neighbor! This is an important lesson we can all learn from!!Thanks Tim!!
I have been enjoying your videos for the last several weeks. I live near the Atchafalaya swamp which had a lot of activity in logging over the last 50 years. My father who I referred to with the road grader worked for logging company when I was a baby .. 1954. He used to tell me stories about the big cypress trees they used to cut and hall out the swamp and many times float the trees out. He also told me when he used to hall cottonwood tree all the way to near New Orleans to Delta Match Company. Those were some hard working days. If he could see one of those machines you’ll have he would love it. He passed away in 2011 but watching your video does bring back some great memories.
Tim, I'm a southern man who understands what you did here. You took care of a neighbor. I applaud you caring for someone in your community they way "Big Tom" took care of you back then. The Christian thing to do. God bless you brother. You are a fine example of what this country needs today and in our future.
this is why you're one of my favorite RU-vid channels to watch. and that's not just the brotherly way of doing things its the American way and exactly what we as a country needs to get back to . great video 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I really like the fact that you put them on video, and told us what great folks they are. They would never do that themselves. It's just the kind of people they are. I know folks like that too, and try to be one of them when I can, so thank you for that. And by the way, you know your stuff man. I love the way you got the right soil in there, and the logs, and the way you babied that thing out of there without breaking anything. I know the loader helped, and it took a joint effort to complete the task at hand. Good job everybody.
I was taught from a young age that money is useless. The only thing that matters is your word and how you treat people and that will carry you in Life. Old school way of life is priceless and you can't buy the old school way of life for any amount of money. Your a class act and showing everyone that old school way of life will never die
That's how small town America works. This is how you know America is still alive and well. No one owes you anything and your always ready and willing to help people out when they need you the most....and they'll do the same for you. No money exchanges hands, we just help out good people. Merica! 🇺🇸
That's what I'm talking about Tim people sticking together can't beat that your a great man keep up the great work you rock ol boy just paying it forward feels great take care Napa Mike
That is very cool tater. Helping friends is how it should always be. I believe in helping people that has help me regardless of how much of my time is in it. Great video.
Now thats a real Gent!!! We have a saying in Scotland........ 'One good turn deserves another'. The world could do with a lot more folk like you Tim, that was so good of you mate, cheers.
You executed that like a boss Tim, great job ! That's got to be a first on anyone's channel - a coordinated recovery from over 4,000 miles away ! Glad you got it done and the end of the video just shows who you really are - real nice work my friend.
It was a pleasure and also a pleasure to see you do it ! I might do a video next week telling of a few tales of some of the stuff we've recovered....not to mention got stuck !
+Lord Muck There's a side to Tim that he keeps hidden away most of the time. But when he allows it to come through you realise what a Champion Bloke he is. Would have been good to have you on the phone in the back ground saying stuff like, "not like that you buffoon", " I said slew it RIGHT not LEFT are you directionally challenged?" lol. But all said and done between the two of you, you got the job done. You gave Tim some advice and he performed the operation like a Surgeon.
Haha ! To tell the truth, I sent Tim a series of quick vids and I used a scale model excavator to demonstrate and talk through what I would do and in what situation. Tim has enough experience to execute a job like this but as he said, this was a different scenario and all I did was to reaffirm his thoughts and give a couple of pointers. That's one of the great things about social media.
Tim, you sir, are proof that God's Saints still walk among us! Your satisfaction of being able to help your friend and his family in their time of need was not measurable by money. That kind deed will pay you dividends forever, in special ways! Thanks for a nice video, I'll go to bed, sleep with great comfort and a smile on my face. ....13
Great job fellas 👍🏼 Team work! My dad told me when I was a little boy to always help another person in need because one day you may need that same person's help R.I.P.💪🏼
This was the first video of yours that I ever found - over a year ago. After watching this, I found your channel and subscribed - now you're my "go to guy" when I look at RU-vid. Thanks for the wonderful videos - you bring everyday subjects to your viewers in a clean, fun, and down-to-home way.
theres not many men left in world that would do something like that and u only get that kind of kindness in small towns or small communities love that u are good people wish I new u more
That was a smart plan, you knew the limitations of all equipment involved and adjusted as needed. Goes to show you what good guys will do for each other. Glad I watched.
You are a good man for helping out your friends. I feel the world needs more people that practice this type of help among friends. It’s a rare day when you find someone that is willing to help without trying to break the bank when someone is in a bind. Take care and be safe my friend.
That's a great lesson on how to help people in need. You are a kind man with a heart of gold. I hope it comes back to you one day. But by the sound of it, it already has by having good friends around you. Cheers from Australia.
I am glad yt suggested this video to me. The ending reminded me of a time when I was a teenager and got my dads log truck buried in a soft spot in our driveway behind the house while fully loaded. All I had to dig it out with was a case 340 back hoe to dig it out with and it would not budge it. After several hours of trying I seen a big Michigan loader coming down the road and to my surprise it turned down my driveway. Turned out to be a couple good old boys from down the road that seen my problem and came to help. They pushed the truck out with ease then asked if there was anyplace nearby where they could get some gravel to dump into the ruts and I told them there was a hill out back where we get our gravel from and they proceeded to dig out the soft soil a couple feet deep and about 100 feet long and replaced it with gravel. I was afraid to ask how much it was going to cost but they said no cost for a good neighbor. I tried to give them some money anyway but they refused so I said wait a minute I have something I know you can not refuse and went into the garage to my dads beer fridge and pulled out two full cases of beer and handed one to each of them and they left. Now 30 years later I own a 340 bobcat excavator and anytime one of my neighbors asks and if I can drive it to their job site then I just do it for free.
Awwww that was pretty damn cool !!!! I love people like that, when someone needs a hand it is just CODE that you don't think twice to reach out and help. Even years later the payback is priceless. Good Video Tim Yall are alright with me !!!!
That was awesome! I really like the story he told at the end! That’s truly “What’s Up” looking out for others! I can see the appreciation in all of their faces! Again great video, and great story at the end!
Great video as usual. Looking like a surgeon at the excavator controls. But I do have to say one thing, the story you tell at the end of this video, describes everything I love about being from the south. All about hard work and helping your brother out. Good on ya CotonTop
Tim that was a great thing to do, things like that are getting rare these day when people help out others, it gives you a good feeling that people like you are still around.
3 years ago, this video of really just a good deed, helping someone just because its the right thing to do is an act that is sadly almost gone. For some reason I needed to see this video! Thank you!
Liked the part talking about friends and your appreciation of them. Saw your heart fill up. Good for you. There's no friends like old friends. Like your videos too.
That's the way things use to be in the 40's-50's. GI's coming back from the war would reach out to help anyone in trouble. My Dad would put brakes. water pumps, fuel pumps on our neighbors cars when they couldn't afford it. Then other neighbors would bring can goods over from their garden for Dad's generosity. Times were much simpler then, more rewarding to our hearts. Nice thing you did Mr. Cottontop.
Awesome! That's how I was brought up, have a small trucking company and have done a fair bit of no charge work, the reality is that I am lucky to have the friends and family I have. When you give back, I think that you benefit the most. Cheers from rural Canada!
Cotton top u are a great person. Paying it forward. I know what u did for there excavator because that one was sunk but that came from your heart !!! I could hear it in your voice. Great job buddy. And I was raised the same way. There are not a lot of us left out here. I wanted to let u know that video made my day. Take care and be safe and hope u have a blessed evening.
