it has changed now to something less "hhngnngn" I guess. She's still got a pleasured face, thats all I care about... Anyways have you bowed at Lord Ehpixa's return? ╲(_ _ ╲)
Fuck, I was hoping for a release on Monstercat today by you. Not fucking Stonebank, I mean, I like him and all, but I thought it was only traditional my favorite EDM producer had it's return on my favorite label.
it fucking hurts to see such a talented person stop. I know you have your reasons and shit but fuck. You can't find music this good anymore. You meant so much to us all fuck man. We want good music back. We want Ephixa back.
Catfish. First of Ephixa's songs in a year. I'm not sure how I feel about it. The first minute or two has a big buildup, almost like a hype for something big, but the song doesn't get where you think it's going until about 3:40, then it drops to a more mellow rhythm again, after less than 40 seconds of the good stuff. I don't know, I may not know music as well as other people, but I was kind of disappointed.
Um wow Ephxia has returned! This is great too. I wonder were he has been all this time? Anyways Ephxia did it again. Catfish is catchy. Although I wonder what this will fall into. I'm thinking Trance, or House. But I doubt it if its House. Sounds more like Trance but I'm not sure.
***** Yeah I kinda figure it out already. I mean don't get me wrong I thought he came back until people said that this was old. My bad :/ but still a good tune by Ephixa :)
Look at that, i used to listen to you ages ago when you did dubstep. Now the trend has passed, and now you're making stuff thats 1000x cooler than what you used to. kudos man
Minimalist, this is something I can totaly add to my mixing library. It sounds like a good transfer from deep house to southern house or melborne sounds.
Ephixa...I've been waiting at least a year now for you to return, what happend? You know that we all love your music, come back. We need our good old penguin back.
if you listen closely starting at 1:47 you might hear someone saying, "Noisestorm, noisestorm, noisestorm, noisestorm, noisestorm, noisestorm, noisestorm". weird.
On SC he said he made this a long time ago... So unless he really is working under a new alias, he isn't back to producing yet (at least not releasing)
While he did make this a long time ago, he made the effort to upload it, showing that he is still doing things and that he is still interested in providing music to his fans.
Sorry to be a buzz kill, I just didn't want anyone to get false hope and get let down even more. But Dr. Phart is right, it does show that he kinda cares As for Melancholy, it was right after he did a "social experiment" where he made a fake track that was by him and Skrillex and got all his fans to share it so that other people who didn't know about it would found out about a new Skrillex & Ephixa track. He was trying to expose problems in the way the EDM industry works, but in the process he was rude to a lot of other producers (deadmau5 even blocked him on twitter). Monstercat asked him to stop as since he was one of the original creators he represented the brand image poorly, and when he declined they stopped working together. However soon after that he disappeared, stopping most social media communication, the only new song being "I Need A New Alias" (which wasn't on Monstercat), indicating he may have wanted to move on in his musical career and decided to go out in an infamous fireball so that at least he would be remembered. Monstercat has said they're open to him submitting tracks to the submission box, so there's a chance we could see him in the future but it seems he may not be interested in returning, or at least returning as Ephixa.
I don't know 100% since Ephixa was pretty sparse with details about it, but he wanted to get people who hadn't heard of him to truly believe he had collaborated with Skrillex. My guess was that it would show how people didn't do research to see if the things they saw were lies, such as how on a lot of popular albums such as Krewella's Get Wet and Skrillex's Recess have many songs also by other artists but they aren't credited on the actual release, and people wouldn't know these artists made the songs for them unless they looked it up. These are recent examples, but there have been these types of albums forever. He was also showing the power of social media, how if a lie was spread enough it would become truth once the media forced it down people's throats. At least, that's my understanding of it.
Whhhhhat! Hes here!!! Omg hes comeback from the grave! The man of penguins and bacon has returned to us! All hail ephixa! I never stopped believing and on this day in the future I'll tell my children I was here the day our great god had his second coming! Hail ephixa hail ephixa HAIL EPHIXA
