Between you and Bradley Robinson my love of cooking has grown so much and I'm so glad that i found you guy's. My family also thanks you guy's for the good food ive been able to create with the inspiration. Keep it up and congratulations on your success.
My family is from East Texas, so I've eaten a lot of catfish from Caddo Lake and this was probably the best plate I've had west of I-45. Also, we need to serve that lemon kale slaw again because it was insaaaanely tasty. Another successful and fun "pop up" in the L&L books. ◡̈
From watching these Texas BBQ videos, my guess that you folks would starve plum to death, if you didn't have the major food conglomerates make your mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard for you. Must be used to cover the flavor of a bad product, like fast food joints, like McDonald's! Perfectly cooked catfish, or whatever, does not need slop sauce slopped with it! Cocktail sauce on the side, plus some Frank's, well can't be beat! Best dang catfish I ever had was in East Texas, and served with some of the best hush puppies, fries, and fried apples, plus was a two meal portion off their lunch menu!!!!!!
As usual. GREAT looking food and fun show. My ONLY suggestion....lose the MSG in the cajun seasoning. I live in New Orleans...no one puts MSG in their creole/cajun seasoning mixes.... Other than that, can't wait till the next installment!! Keep on Cookin' CC
