GIRL POWER!!!! We used to noodle all the time in Tennessee when I was younger! You ain't fished until you noodle. My husband says that the reason he married me, is if there was a banking collapse in the morning, I'd have a shelter built, some game trapped and cleaned, and have dinner ready before 5pm! Country people can survive!!!

You are braver than me and I don’t often say that to a girl. I used to want to try this until one of my Louisiana friends told me that one time he reached into a hole in the muddy water to pull out a catfish and pulled out a cottonmouth instead. Don’t know what the odds are of this happening to someone else but while I would happily risk getting bit by a catfish I’m a little afraid of getting bit by a cottonmouth instead. From talking to my friends they are of the terror of the swamp. They were even more afraid of them then eastern diamondback rattlesnakes because of their aggressive behavior even though a rattlesnakes poison is much worse.

Watching this from the far north of Europe I find this just about as exotic as possible. Such a crazy different culture and although i understand your language, for the most part, i also understand that i know very little about you lovely people and your culture in the southern parts of your country.
