Although I wasn't able to understand what was being said, I enjoyed this video very much as it gave a unique view of the magnificent cathedral of Amiens. I feel very envious of the people that had privileged access to parts of the building that are closed to the public - especially the rooftop walks taking in the graceful, flying buttresses and the amazing walks along the galleries.
Lichfield Cathedral Chorus visited, and stayed in Amiens for four days in 2018 and sang Brahms Requiem(German) in the cathedrals of Amiens and Rouen. A detailed tour of these buildings would have been extremely interesting. Martyn Rawles, organist Lichfield Cathedral was 'allowed' to play the grand organs in Amiens, Rouen, St Ouen. Hospitality in these places was frankly.......grudging.
