A few inside facts: - All game footage is shot for each video to showcase exactly what to expect - I shot around 90 mins of gameplay shots which were then selected based on what fitted - I film all gameplay myself, using a bunch of command lines and tricks alongside using a controller for smooth joystick gliding. - There are approximately 15 different sound effects used in this video although you’ll struggle to hear them (that’s actually a very low figure really) - This video took 14 hours to edit excluding the intro - The intro took a little over 3 hours - I logged a total of 11 Davinci Resolve crashes and then 3 failed render attempts - I accidentally give away what’s to come by means of the mods installed in a certain shot towards the end ;-)
Hey what recording settings are you using for that intro edit? i know you said you spent a lot of time on it but I cant really see any details because of the blocking in the recording. Is it because of youtube or are you using a lower quality recording due to fps/performance hits?
@cenunix it’ll likely be a result of the rendering issues I faced with Resolve when exporting which is a shame. Resolve was a nightmare for this one and I still can’t pinpoint why.
Man, these are getting so so good. The progress bars and attentive edits coupled with your already great presentation. Amazing job this week dude! To be honest, I’m going to have to return to these as I’m really pleased with where my setup is at right now. I’ve broken away and diverged from The Complete Guide a bit, but that is only further testament to The Complete Guide as it facilitated my independence in the first place! Thank you as always, brew time indeed.
I’m extremely grateful to you for your support and motivation. Really means the world to me and it’s really warming to hear the edits and certain elements are appreciated and noticed :-) I thank you as always it means so much. You do what feels best of course! As long as you’re enjoying it, it’s a win! :-) enjoy that brew!
Finally rendered and upon upload was copyright flagged despite owning a paid license. Had to re-edit it out to ensure I could at least get the video out. What a mad journey this was.
100%! I couldn’t believe it. It’s a nightmare for sure. Honestly I’m honoured. Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and support. Means the world to me! I’d love to look at something lore related! Any suggestions? :-)
@@ADHDecent Wonderful as that might be, perhaps we shouldn't encourage you to take on a whole new topic on top of everything you are devoting yourself to already. ❤Lore videos, I think, are easier to find than gems like your unique tutorials.
This series which i followed step by step is amazing. I have tried modding skyrim, for the past 5 days running into crashes after crashes after black screens and PC restart cycles, and your tutorials, the way they are organized and presented have been a completed eye opening game changing experience in regards to modding this game. I feel I cannot thank you enough for the work you have put in these videos and I am looking forward towards the next upload from you like my morning coffee. Wishing you the bestest of the best!
I’m truly honoured. Thank you so much for your incredibly motivating words. I am forever grateful to you. I want to let you know that your incredibly kind hearted words are what drives me to continue to work hard creating these guides. It means the world to me.
@@ADHDecent You are an inspiration and a magnificent community creator! You definitely deserve a statue (mod) built in your name for the help you have given the community. I wish you the very best!
It appears RU-vid compressed the living daylights out of the gameplay and I have no idea why. Rather heartbreaking to be honest... IMPORTANT: No Grass In Objects is not able to work without a framework that is not compatible with AE. If you have installed it already, you can safely remove it through MO2. EDIT: I found out why! Originally, the video included How To PreCache grass using No Grass In Objects & the AE MO2 Plugin - the Plugin was cut for time rendering the NGIO Mod useless without it. The problem with removing parts to save video length I guess! A slight hiccup on my part but nothing major luckily. Thanks to Roland for bringing this to my attention.
I've been modding skyrim on every version since it released on pc, from the first release, legendary, special edition, and now thanks to you Anniversary!! I had a mod setup I had to unfortunately scrap back when the update that messed with SKSE was released last year, and legitimately thought I couldn't anymore without downgrades through steam and insanely complex fixes in the directory. Genuinely, this collection of videos helped me restart after losing my last build and I seriously cannot thank you enough for putting so much time and effort into this series! Over ten years of my life, love for Skyrim and its irreplaceable modding community and my favorite hobby possible again! Thank you!💕
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words of motivation. I'm so glad to hear I've been able to help revive your love for modding! I really appreciate you!
First of all I'd like to say thank you again, because it's always incredible that people take the time for things like this. Even if RU-vid pays, I'm sure it's a pittance compared to the work involved. So a big thank you. I'm sorry that the second part of my message is less positive, but I think I'm not the only one to feels like that. I'm very confused about this tutorial series: like many after the first 2 or 3 episodes, I was extremely hype. I put all my other Skyrim modding plans on hold to wait patiently for these videos, which I found very superior in terms of clarity. They don't go very fast, that's their flaw and their quality. But I have the impression that the further we go, the more confused it gets and the more I lose track of things. 1) Lots of backtracking, lots of changes. I'm lost and feel like I'm treading water by uninstalling half of what I install. 2) The logic is sometimes hard to follow, to be honest. You tell us to install this mod that changes an ultra-precise texture. Okay, but why this one now? Why not make a video that changes all the textures at once, or at least in bunches? In some videos, we install a patch, a texture and a gameplay mod without understanding the link between them, and frankly it doesn't seem to be linked by an order to be respected, but rather random. On this particular video, it's less true since we took care of environnemental mods. 3) It seems to me that it wasn't necessarily clear at the start of the tutorial that we were getting into modding for small confugurations (I'm referring to the fact that we've removed the ENB, for example). It's a bit of a shame. 4) I get the impression that in your tutorial you're depriving yourself of the "latest advances" in terms of mods. For example, it seems to me that there's almost a consensus that the best lighting mod in 2024 is LUX. The same goes for other types of mods, such as Water for ENB, which I think is wastly for water mods on several mods lists. 5) At certain points in the videos, things happen that we don't understand. For example, in this one, when installing the "landscape and water fixes" fix, you don't check ELFX or SMIM, without explaining why. There you go. I'm sincerely sorry that it sounds so negative because every Friday I look forward to these videos, but I think we have to be honest and it sounds pretty constructive to me. Good luck to you !
I’m always grateful when someone takes the time to explain their concerns or impression. Sometimes there’s an answer, sometimes it’s something that could be an oversight. But clarification can go a long way for all involved. So please don’t apologise I am grateful. I’ll try and go top to bottom on this if that’s okay 1. Revenue- You’re right, pittance would be a big step up aha. Gaming is the most oversaturated market on the platform and the revenue is essentially negligible. Of course that’s not why I do this but it does mean everything when people support the channel directly as it’s a joy to know someone considers it worthy. The hours I’ve invested in these are quite scary and certainly not something you’d do for financial gain. 2. Hype- This is sadly the greatest issue with the world of Skyrim Modding, the expectation is that it’s instantaneous and effortless. For those with years within modding Skyrim, the mutual understanding was always that modding would consume more time than playing and it’s true. But the modding aspect can be part of the fun, naturally not for all. But modding takes time and it’s important to know that because if that investment is not something you want to do, you’ll just become frustrated. 3. Speed (tempo)- This is a point I’ve learned to expect now when in a large topic like modding. You won’t ever find the right tempo for creating guides - some are fast learners. Some can follow by the second, others need more time, more attempts when it goes wrong, more clarity on exactly what step is next. If I go too fast I’ll read I’m not clear enough, rushing and not helpful, if I go too slow, I’ll read I’m boring, not very useful or even infuriating. This also sits quite close to home for me from an ADHD perspective. I will always try to find the middle ground, but I would rather be slower than faster. I struggled in school. A lot. Not for lack of trying but that I couldn’t keep up. And I suffered. And those around me would blame me for not keeping up. No one should have to feel like that. It’s soul destroying. These guides are about simplifying it as much as possible and providing support to anyone who wants to try it out for the first time or even return to it after a hiatus. All inclusive and no expectation. 4. Speed (releases)- this for me is a hobby. I dedicate my spare time to creating these. Each video is scripted to remove any dialogue that isn’t helpful and condense the info into exactly what’s needed so I don’t waste anyone’s time. Ref point 1: I am not financially compensated by RU-vid that would support this channel in any way when taken into account the hours invested in each video. Script and research -> Game testing to ensure it works -> Uninstalling it all to film the process -> filming the process -> recording the voice over -> editing everything together -> Manually subtitling each video so those with hard of hearing don’t miss out from auto generated captions -> designing the thumbnail -> release It’s an incredibly long process and I have a job myself and day to day responsibilities. At this moment in time, this has consumed every moment of what would be “free” time. I feel the pressure of those waiting and realise I just can’t do any more than I am already unless it became a job that paid the bills. 5. Backtracking - I just want to quickly amend that because I understand what you mean but it’s not backtracking it’s intentional. The series is not me modding for everyone. It’s me going through /how/ to mod which includes a number of processes that may appear counter intuitive but it’s all part of what each modder will experience. Copying a build isn’t really going to help when certain mods change, discontinue or break with an update. Mod lists also exist for that if needed. This is about learning the elements and being able to tackle it on your own when you want. 6. Logic- this actually is something I agree with to an extent. That pressure I referred to earlier coupled with real life issues had overwhelmed me and I ended up pushing to release and avoid missing the deadline without noticing I was venturing off course and it became a mess. I’ve since corrected that as you’ve said you’ve noticed. 7. Small configs- it’s not necessarily designed for small builds. However it is at this moment in time naturally but it’ll keep growing (ref- time limitations) I also have a rather modest PC myself which has its limitations (fortunately minor ones so far) but many of us also aren’t in a position where we can install thousands of ultra high def overhauls and have it load up. I want it to be as inclusive as possible as mentioned before. 8. LUX - number of variables on this one: familiarity / demands / experience with testing against latest version / bug reports / mainly though is the purpose of the guide being for learning to mod and not copying. Many options have alternatives with followers for and against and at the end of the day as it’s essentially an example, I just have to choose. Similar to tempo, you won’t always win with the decision 9. Landscape fixes- this was also deliberate as I explain certain things you need to look out for when modding such as FOMOD options and have showed examples in previous episodes. I stress the point that this is only done where there are examples of the exact same situation in previous episodes. This helps reduce any repetitive instructions and processes, ensuring the video doesn’t drag on and I will always cover it at least once first before. the guide is designed to show how to mod not to copy what I’m doing and sadly copying my screen and not listening or reading the captions I create then commenting that it doesn’t work is a common occurrence because the issue in the complaint is covered within the video. I’m hoping that’s covered it. I apologise if I’ve missed anything as I can lose track and had to re-read a number of times aha. Again, don’t apologise, please. You’ve taken time to write this out with a lot of information and I’m grateful to you for that. It helps me help others and maybe more than before. Constructive criticism can be an incredibly kind gesture to those whose aim is to improve and refine. I thank you :-)
An indispensable guide to Skyrim modding. Appreciate all the hard work and looking forward to the next one....Just a side note, I hope we will get back into installing an ENB.
@@ADHDecent You too, friend! I hope to find another one like you for New Vegas, that bad boy gave me some PTSD in the past hahaha, that's a tough nut to crack.
when i first downloaded cathedral mods I gotta say I was surprised how well it held up vs the more popular "staple" visual mods, never felt the need to get anything else either
Sure, i run also most of the Cathedral mods, especially the nice 3D plants. They are looking great in divers set-ups. Rally has also nice ones, good to complet or for some changes. Mikey for sure for the animals of all kind.

Glad you enjoyed it! Really appreciate you saying so it means the world to me! You motivate me! It’s planned but it’s taking a lot more testing because of OAR vs DAR and the current game version. But hoping to get to it soon :-)
@@ADHDecent no worries! I appreciate learning what works with all the new updates. Make sure to rest in between all your releases and I'll catch ya on the next one ☺️
Great done once more ! Very happy you showed this "my own modlist" here when it comes to landscape and weather. I love Cathedral, it looks great, is lightweight and very easy to manage. Also the other cathedral stuff is working so well with it. Just chosed some other mountain-flowers, but that purely personal taste and choice. For Solsteim i use an other overhaul, still fidling around for my personal Solsteim. Added for sure also some Morrowind critters and animals there. Cathedral Weather gives me bit the vibe of the old Purity i ran for long on Oldrim. Thanks for the nice and complet video, still a great pleasure !
Can't wait for the next one! I hope you plan on adding quest, combat overhauls, skill tree overhauls, etc.. basically, the game changing stuff rather than just visuals. No hate just excited!
I’ve been modding Skyrim less than two years and always used cathedral weathers in my videos. I left for awhile and Skyrim updated twice. I have spent the last two months trying different weather and enb mods along with reshade presets. After two months I’ve found out the best weather mod enb and reshade combo is the one I was using all along. Just redownloaded cathedral with Pi Cho Konan for Cathedral weathers and Elegance Reshade preset. This seems to be the most effective for a vibrant fantasy feel. Using the Pi Cho Konan enb settings is also the best out of the box and needs minimal changes, in particular, skin glossiness is to much so needs adjusting. But I really couldn’t be any happier with this combo.
Every episode has been amazing. Love your editing style as well! I am still adding my personal touches to this list such as fantasia landscape, weather & lighting mods. I am motivated to make it to at least 500 mods. Will need to do patches as well.
Great Videos! You helped me a LOT. I wanted to aks if you plan to cover the Rudy ENB for Obsidian Weathers in the future since im having trouble to install it.
I think Cathedral is up there with the greatest. And when you learn about what Cathedral means and stands for it’s truly beautiful. I love the community. Dyndolod is up soon! I’m looking to see how my PC handles Parallax aha
@@ADHDecent yeah I'm gaming at 3440 x 1440 ultra settings with all 4k textures parallax ENB dyndolod and get 60-100fps with my i711700k@5.0ghz and RX7800xt @2700mhz 64gb DDR4 @3600
@@ADHDecent we all start somewhere mate when I first started playing Old Rim (2011)I was running 1st gen I7 (2009) @3.8ghz OC with 6gb DDR3 and 2x GTX460's 1gb in SLI to play 1080p ultra lol and yes I've been playing Skyrim for 12+ years
I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes the definitive go-to guide for modding Skyrim in 2024. I got into modding a couple of years ago with some older games that I'd always loved like ME and then gradually started using mods on other games once I'd completed an initial playthrough. What I quickly learned is that outside of some general concepts, there's a dramatic difference in modding from one game to the next. I'd never played Skyrim, but since it was so pivotal to open world RPG gaming, I wanted to give it a try. However, it's so visually unimpressive and basic by today's standards that I soon realized I'd never finish it without some extensive modding. So I started hunting around on YT and message boards for guides and ideas. I've seen dozens of "how-to" videos, tried collections on Vortex and Wabbajack and they all ended (usually sooner rather than later) at CTD. I even joined a couple of Patreons that promised "in-depth" guides and none resulted in anything but frustration. There's a few good videos for specifics (like Skse, Dyndolod, etc) but nothing even comes close to the comprehensive nature of this series. Best of all, IT ALL WORKS. So, hat's off! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and not just giving us one roadmap, but teaching us how to build our own. I look forward to watching your other videos and those that you'll put out in the future. PS The Cathedral Weathers Unofficial Update has been moved to its own mod page. But there's no note in the download or main page, only in the posts section, which some people may not think to check . Just FYI since inevitably you'll get some yahoo complaining.
I’m truly honoured. Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and motivating words. It really means the world to me! It’s really warming to read the key points behind this series so far have been noticed and appreciated. It motivates me to continue! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it so far. I look forward to sharing the rest! :-)
Please stop pressing cancel during the installations with multiple steps. Just because you have installed it before does not mean that we have installed it too. For example "Fabled Forests". There are lots of steps in installation of that mod but you don't show us the process completely.
Yep! I mention at that stage it’s a great way to experiment with the order and see how it impacts the game. Because it’s only mild and not gamebreaking changes, it helps others see what load order and mod priority have impact wise on the game :-)
wow this is amazing im new to skyrim and modding it has turn to be quite a difficult thing for a beginner like me can you make a video on the mod silent horizons 2 universal core i want to mod it like that but launching with my mod organizer 2 the mods graphics and changes do not seem to take place
I haven't gotten this far in the series yet, it may be a couple days. I'm just wondering, for this video should we have ENB removed? Thanks in advance! P.S. I've been able to mod the game a little in the past, but I'd end up corrupting it. Not knowing what I did or how to fix it, I ended up never being able to actually play the game. So I just want to say I really appreciate you taking the time to make this series, it's brought the game back to life for me.
I appreciate the support and your kind words thank you :-) it is preferred to remove it, yes. You don’t have to and the two will run but you’ll have to keep disabling ENB to see what Cathedral Weathers do
@LocalClownbruh I am so grateful to you to hear that. Honestly after the problems faced with it today I was struggling. This is everything I could have asked for as it’s what I’m aiming for, to do something a little different :-)
Really enjoying your videos, just watching them to update myself on 2024 Skyrim modding to make sure I didn't miss any important changes (like Nemesis vs. FNIS, etc). Learned a few new things even though I've been doing this for about a decade haha. Your videos are also really well put together and gorgeous. Quick question: If this is meant to be a guide that you watch all the videos through and end up with a fully modded game at the end, , I'm confused at downloading/installing mods you don't intend to be used? I was kind of thrown at that with the 4k Galaxy mod, and now with the flora mods. I'm just using your guide as a base for a new run, but I feel like that could get confusing and/or frustrating for folks following along step by step. Again, love and appreciate the videos. They've been really helpful for updating my current knowledge base.
I really appreciate your kind words thank you :-) means a lot to me. The guide isn’t meant to be followed until the end for a complete build. Because everyone’s tastes vary it wouldn’t be useful to many. The guide is intended to teach how to mod. The ins and outs, all of the various areas you’ll come across including what could be seen as counter intuitive. Because it’s important to know how to do these elements properly for those who take on their own builds. The start was to be followed in a way - setting up the basics needed. But the main purpose is to use the same build each video to show exactly what’s happening and show that that exact build works at the time of the video. It is my intention for people to use the guide as a beginning. Modding is creativity. Your own journey. I just cover the areas to show how it all comes together. And then should you wish to recap a certain topic that’s also possible. It’s a fine line and it’s been a tough process to write so far. At one point (episode 9 and 10 I believe) I started straying away from my intentions but I’ve brought it back again now. Following a list and copying clicks is easy and beneficial if you want that exact setup. Other than that it’s pretty useless and won’t advance anyone’s understanding of modding for those who wish to know how it works and why it works rather than just knowing it does I suppose :-)
On the "Skyrim landscape and water fixes" Mod its possible to choose patches for ELFX, ELFX Exteriors and SMIM, shouldn't they be ticked when installed? And my game looks nothing like yours, even with the same mods, not really sure what I did wrong.. :(
Yes, always follow FOMOD options and pay attention to which mods you have installed. Read the descriptions within the FOMODs for more information. ELFX and SMIM should be selected.
I followed your guide throughout, and was able to load Skyrim in some of the early videos when you did, however I have now followed everything you did from videos 1-10 and when I run Skyrim and start a new save, Alternate Start doesnt work and pressing ESC now crashes my game instantly, any ideas why this is happening?
This whole Guide is helping me tremendously with my modding! Thank you so much! Just a small question. At around 8:20 you didn't check the box for a Patch for "Landscape Fixes for Grass Mods" in the "Skyrim Landscapes and Water Fixes"-Installer. Is that patch not needed or was that really an oversight?
I followed the instructions and everything is working smoothly! Thanks for the help! By the way, what's the best way to add armor/weapon mods and/or other overhaul mods?
Is this series still ongoing? Im curious because I've been following your mod list and haven't wanted to install anything else until i knew we were at the final product. Keep up the good work! Looks great so far!
Thank you for the great guide! I start modding in December and this guide is really helpful! I already tried 2 playthrough but the game eventually crashed (I think I get excited and install too many mods). I have seen a lot of videos but usually they are about a topic and that’a it. This guide cover so many topics (and more to come) and it is recent! Thank you again for helping us modding Skyrim! One question. What about mods that add new locations like Bruma or Moonpath to Elsweyr? Should we reinstall graph mods or weather mods again after installing all new locations? If this is something you will cover in the future, I can wait for my answer there. Once again, thank you very much and I am looking forward for the next episode.
Where would I need to put Community shaders in the load order if I download it, and does it work with all the cathedral mods we downloaded in the video?
@@Chardsss it has no plugins. For the left panel of MO2 I typically put it and all it’s features in environment but I could also see it be put in visual, textures, and atmosphere. Some people on the CS discord have said it doesn’t matter where you put it.
@@Chardsss oh I will also note I can create an empty mod and name it community shaders output and put the shader cache and the .json file in there and place it towards the bottom of mod priority.
Hey there ADHDecent....as I already mentioned great tutorials keep it up. Wondering if your going to use Skyclimb....it's so convenient Climbing over fences and walls. Even mountains will be a little easier to climb. It's just a suggestion
Really appreciate it thank you! Means a lot to me! It’s on the ‘potentials’ list as its compatibility is an issue at the moment but it may have been solved now I’m unsure. So many to keep track of it’s easy to miss an update!
Thank you for this series! One of my personal goals is to combine this amazing series as a base game and then install some 1st person combat overhaul mods to make it feel more akin to Chivalry/Warhammer Darktide melee combat. Are you aware of these mods and do you think they will conflict with what you've already provided us thus far? Thanks again!
Much appreciated for the guides, thank you so much! I have a question - I have all the listed mods installed in the exact order, when I launch skyrim, the grass has pink/purple mesh, as if missing textures. I must have missed a step somewhere, do you which mod could be causing that?
Here again just to comment for the algo. Was wondering if you were planning on doing a guide for FO4? and if not curious if you can point me in a good direction. I understand the modding scene for FO4 is a bit of a nightmare right now. Do you think it will improve?
Apparently comments are no longer considered for the algorithm anymore annoyingly. Gotta love YT sometimes but i do appreciate the sentiment thank you FO4 is something I will be looking at in future yes. There are many similar traits to the Skyrim game but Ill end up getting to it anyway although I am unsure of when right now I am not aware of the issues with FO4 at the moment as I simply dont have time to do much other than edit but I can imagine itll be a result of the new tv show becoming an insane success and then of course the game update that screwed over Fallout London's release which is incredibly not cool. As for people, Michael (Gamerpoets) covers FO4 I think and his guides are absolutely top notch Hope this helps
I’m loving the videos it’s a big help but could you you make a video going through the in game settings with the mods you have installed there’s so much there I get lost looking through them and have clue what some of them even do? Thanks for everything btw
@@ADHDecentthat’s perfect and thanks to you I’m a lot more confident installing other mods too, I woundnt have a clue otherwise appreciate it and keep up the good videos ❤️
I did. the complete way you shown 1-to-1. but meantime my savegames will not start with the mods and plugins. When starting Skyrim or MO2 is deaktivating the most mods at themselv. I can’t activate them again. When I hit the activation in MO2 manual, at the next savegame start they are deactivated again and the game crash.
Hi, Best guide on modding by far. Im following it, im near the end, and all went well. What are your plans now ? Im hoping for graphics (people, land, town, dungeons...).
You’re too kind! Appreciate it thank you! You could place it under 7 without trouble. At the moment I’m looking at city expansions and don’t want additional conflict errors as I need to see where the texture issues are or bugs etc. Once the cities are implemented they’ll be moved down so they’re also loaded into the cities properly. You’ve beaten me to it 😉
To add: Mod Priority ≠ Load Order. So it’s not as much of an issue as it would be with their LO positioning. The other thing to remember would be the structure of these flora in relation to the grass fix patches as we want the fixes to correct whatever flora we add if needed
@@ADHDecent Ahhh okay makes perfect sense, and right my bad on wrong verbiage. Thanks for knowing what I meant to say. Just got done with this update- and it’s a very beautiful addition!
I did everything correct but the snow in the northern part of the map looks bright blue at night and is super distracting. Is there anyway to fix this with a setting or by downloading a patch?
Great episode again. Love it. Just a small question where can I find these mods Landscape Fixes Fro Grass Mods CRF & ASLAL Patch Landscape Fixes For Grass Mods JK's Skyrim Patch
question? I can go on playing without the fear that the Savegame will be lost. And how many videos will be missing to complete the Modlist which is great.
If you're ever worried, back up your saved game files and carry on then use them if needed to return to the series. There are a number of videos yet to come but it's entirely up to you how far you follow
Sorry dude the game looks too good, your going to have to stop right there, the joy in my heart is likely to create overwhelming emotions like happiness and gratitude, and we can't have that. No definitely not.
Also yeah same @dubzchekum Same here honestly this has been really big for me, I even made text files documenting the seperators in case I ever have to do a fresh install, as well as a text file with all the mods in the load order. Ive got ADHD as well and it can be hard to remember this stuff haha Its great that @ADHDdecent is doing these.
Hello mate, great guide so far! Really enjoying taking a deeper look into modding! So far everything works perfectly! Do you have planned to mod the combat system in the future ? Would be interesting to see what approach you take. I’ve given it a few tries but no success so far Have a good one
Amazing news! Glad you’re enjoying it so far! Yes, combat is planned. It’s one requiring hours of testing because of the introduction of OAR to replace DAR and the latest update narrowing options even further. So it is planned it’s just taking much more experimenting and testing :-)
Great video. Thank you for that. I can play the beautiful Skyrim without losing FPS. I found a small bug. After visiting the Tundra homestead (AE) I noticed that there is some terrible cutout in front of the entrance and the ground floor is missing. Did I miss a fix in previous tutorials? Thanks for feedback
@@ADHDecent Uninstalled No grass in objects, no change. EDIT: Uninstall Landscape and water fixes, that was causing the problem. Presumably this patch does not include AE content fixes but only SE.
Yeah it’s not the Grass Mod causing it. I’ve tested it and can’t replicate the problem you’re having. If you’ve installed mods outside of the ones in the video that could be the cause. Remember to enable compatibility for SMIM & ELFX when installing the Skyrim Fixes mod. It’s a patch somewhere that’s been missed

Type chkdsk C: /f /r /x (you can replace C with any drive letter you want to check). Right-click on the command and select “Run as administrator”. Wait for the disk check process to complete. Restart your computer. If using Windows 11:- Using Command Prompt: Open Windows Terminal as an administrator (search for “Terminal” in the Start menu, right-click on Windows Terminal, and select Run as administrator). Type the following command and press Enter: chkdsk /f C: Replace C: with the drive letter you want to check. If any issues are found, you’ll be prompted to schedule a scan for the next restart. Confirm and restart your computer.
Update: thank you for pointing this out. It was supposed to be removed from the list for the episode but I messed up and it slipped through. All the similar names I think. Appreciate the heads up. I’ve pinned a comment about it :-)
@rolandpahi3079 I really appreciate you! I could switch to Decaf but I’d just fall asleep at the desk 😂☕️ EDIT: I found out why! Originally I had included the use and installation of an MO2 Plugin for AE that uses to No Grass in Mods to PreCache grass. I later cut that part from the video but didn't remove the NGIO mod which is useless without the plugin! I can rest knowing how it happened now though aha!
You can use them together safely but depending on your load order, some texture from either cathedral and skyland will overwrite each other and you only get to see one of them. For example, if you put cathedral landscape lower than skyland, you will only get to see the blended roads from cathedral unless you delete the road texture.
LOD issue which is likely the reason trees were few and far between in the original game. It simply can’t generate them until you’re in close proximity. Luckily, thanks to modding, this is fixable with DynDoLOD. Which is currently being worked on for this series ;-)
I do both. Usually ill cap it for consistency and as I only really play to record footage through OBS it'll bottleneck my PC is it's not capped. But without OBS I can achieve good results uncapped even on my ancient machine
@@ADHDecent awesome, yea my machine is a older one but gets the job done. Hey do you change settings in .ini file or through a mod? And thanks for the reply.
Absolutely. If it ain't broke! You can change the ini through MO2. I believe I show you how in the series but can't remember where. Remember that the ini files will be different for your mo2 build than the game as mo2 has it's own ones for the virtual file system to keep the game directory clean
