Those mittens are really gorgeous, well done for designing them. Love your sweater too. I used a tutorial by The Crazy Sock Lady to do magic loop. Sock knitting does definitely get easy the more you do. 😁

Hi Angie, thanks for watching and for the tutorial tip too! I think things seem to be going OK now but I will definitely give that tutorial a watch as I'm sure I still have a lot to learn about kntting socks! :)

Aw, thanks so much Emma! I think the camera (my phone) actually flatters my knitting as it seems to look better on screen than in real life actually 😆 I'm really looking forward to going to and reporting back on the Crochet Sanctuary too! xx

Your crocheted mittens are gorgeous, well done you on figuring out all the fiddly bits. I love your Felix, it looks great on you and I wish I'd made the smaller size too, it looks so neat and lovely. Regarding the socks, it sounds like you're figuring stuff out all by yourself anyway so you probably don't need any advice but I would say if you prefer ktbl, p1, then you should do that, lots of people prefer it that way round, just not me 😆 also you should make the leg as long as you prefer, I always find that everyone is different on that as well - I did make a mistake on the pattern though, 10 repeats was def not enough 🤦‍♀

Hi Emma, I'm pleased you like the mittens :) They are turning into a bit of a labour of love to get right - but I will get there! Thanks for the tip about ktbl, p1. I might give that a go next time and see how it looks. I couldn't work out why my back seemed to look neater than my front 😆
